i am in the Mid Dorset North Poole Constituency. It would seem that the Reform Candidate did not register in time to stand, and at the moment it is apparently a close call between Lib Dem and Tory to win. I think the SDP are missing a trick here to make a push in Reforms absence. I have yet to see an SDP leaflet through my door, or poster anywhere in my area Corfe Mullen/ Wimborne Minster.

Only recently heard of the SDP. I checked their policies and I am absolutely sold. They are the party that I have been looking for. I checked my local candidate options for the general election and saw that Tim O'Rourke is available for the SDP. I was very surprised, but he is absolutely getting my vote. I hope the SDP becomes a force in politics one day, they are the party of the future for Britain.

If you were standing in my constituency of Burnley I would vote for you. You need to get more publicity somehow. I think a lot of people would vote for you as your policies are what many people are looking for. But nobody I have spoken to about you even know your party exists.

Well someone didnt read the manifesto.. oh dear, thats the bare minimum an interviewer should do to prepare. to say "arnt you closet conservative" gave that away. Conservative sell off everything to private sector and are supposed to lower taxes (which they havent been doing) Conservatives are anti government owned of anything and you can be sure slowly but surely they will sell off the nhs the US. Conservative doesn't not want to own water, power, transport or anything. Social Democratic party want to own water, power, transport and nhs, because that is the better option. The Corporation business model does not work out better for the consumer, it simply cant. it needs to increase profits year on year to please the shareholder and therefore the CEO will get his bonus. its anti consumer to its core. SDP is far superior that any other party. please read the manifesto and maybe we can save the UK from the corrupt idiots.

Im in burnley and dont think ive ever had the chance to vote for the SDP. This year there is an independent candidate who used to be in the SDP, I will be voting for him. Ive only really just looked into the party as I knew nothing about them, but their policies are near enough perfect for me. They dont seem to get any air time or mentioned anywhere really, which is a shame as i really think a lot of normal working people would find them very appealing. And the leader seems to be the best of all the party leaders.

I really wish they were not called the “elite”. That is no doubt how they see themselves- they are elitists but as a humble middle class professional I can say I have little time for them and lots of contempt.

What evidence is there that fossil fuels contribute to global warming? If the UK adds less than 1% to the global total of carbon dioxide how can the UK so called “net zero” policy impact on the world output when the world’s largest contributors are expanding their fossil fuel output?

Plain and simply there are too many going to university, 50% according to a 2019 BBC article, and there are too many sub-par universities that really don't give you much bang for your buck and take someone out of the workforce for 3 entire years. The UK government itself acknowledges that only 61%, for 2023/4 but for 2022/3 only 21%, of students will pay back their loans and by the mid 2040s there will be £460 billion in outstanding student loan debt, which to me is indicative of how poorly many students fare after uni.
