That was sooooo moving! My favourite part was the gift of the ukulele at the end. I knew she'd be able to hear it. What was interesting was that he got out of pergatory by disobeying the rules at work. "Tell them what they want to hear" and being scolded for having personal conversations kept him robotic and less human. Giving in to his need for connection was also what SHE needed, and they both ended up helping each other. Going against what he was told to do awarded him his ascendence to heaven. What a great video. Bravo. 🎉

Gerald's job was Purgatory, as is many of ours. The Ouija board was like meeting online, and never really meeting. Very astute, very observant, thank you.

If you didn't know, the Ouija board is a portal to HELL. So just the premise of this movie from the get go, was weird! This movie was less than average in my opinion. Don't worry, there are plenty of Ukuleles in Heaven.

Plays ukulele, clearly deserved to go to Hell.

I remember watching this a few years ago, and it remains one of my favorite short films. Still made me tear up. The Ouija board as a metaphor for an online relationship is brilliant, and the mix of humor and emotion is perfect. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

That was absolutely beautiful. The amount of emotion and storytelling conveyed without saying a single word was amazing. Besides the happy ending, which I'll admit I'm a sucker for; the chemistry between the 2 main characters without them ever meeting or seeing one another was my favorite. Best 16 mins of film I've seen in the last 5 years.

WOWWW! Hats off to anyone/everyone involved in this one! I was touched from beginning to end. I had no preconceived idea on what this was about. When I first saw the Ouija board, I kind of wondered if this was gonna fall back on some typical story of possession or such, but this story drew me in, and I didn’t want to do anything other than watch to the conclusion. I love originality, and this really broke my heart at the end, which is a good thing. Well done everyone well done

I was just telling one friend, yesterday, that my very close (We talk [nearly] every day) friend says I attract weird (which she said only a couple days prior) & then THIS pops up. Yep. Some well done, entertaining, cute, heart-touching, insightful, thought-provoking weird. Cool.

That was awesome. A great idea, with a nice execution. Touching and hopeful. Great job.

What a brilliant, thought-provoking and extremely funny film. I related to the film on many levels. I am a psychic medium. People often come to me in despair wanting to know if things will get better. So I relate to Gerald’s perspective. What they really need is healing and perhaps a compassionate nonjudgemental ear. I also relate to Claire. In loneliness and depression I reach out to the spirit world trying to find meaning… ask if there is something really beyond the physical world… am I imagining it… are they really there? Can they just hang out and chat with me? The poignant lesson I took away from the film is the “place” itself where our consciousness resides does not determine whether we experience joy and meaning in our existence. But rather it is our authentic connections with others and it is the joys in the moment we experience in taking enjoyable actions. Whether rocking out to death metal in our cars, sharing a meaningful glance with another person in an elevator, giving a gift for no other reason than to brighten someone’s day, finding a way to add value to another person’s life while in a (literal) dead end job, or taking enjoyment in playing a musical instrument. The film made me laugh out loud as much as it brought me to tears. Please make more films!!!
