If your main team already has maxed out their friendship levels, make sure to switch to a team of 4 characters that still need friendship EXP before collecting overworld resin rewards like from Ley Lines, 40 Resin bosses and the Wolf of the North. You can fight with your strong team, but make sure to collect the rewards with that friendship-farming team :)

I do that too a lot! I find the first step to saving is a strong desire for specific character! without that there's never a goal and therefor nothing to keep you going! ^-^
