Have you tried with DeepSeek? Can you install that in one of those new digital modules that perform different functions?
Now this is mind blowing again, what AI can do... 😮😮
this is an amazing real-world demonstration. wow well done.
He forgot a zero in the title. No way is this a $5 build. XD
Now it's just a matter of refining it and putting it on a pico with a dac board like the pcm5102 :)
Yep, my thought too!
I will try the same creating C++ code for running on a microcontroller ✌️
Like in one go? I know you can code. How much did you contribute?
Check the description 😉
@DeVinylSlet thanks 👍
very cool hagiwo!
Really cool project man!
Nice sound.
Wow thanks for this one :) Pretty awesome, I will build it soon ! One question, I only have 5.1k Ohm resistors, will these be fine instead of 4.7k ohm resistors ? I think so, but I do not want to get this circuit critical 😂 Large up !!
One option for the sustain level would be using the button as a "shift" function and while pressed, one of the pots would adjust it... ;)
Since you use the generic pins without DACs, I believe this could be adapted as a dual Envelope Generator (AD / AR) as well ... :)
I'm trying to get into diy digital hardware, and came across your videos, they're great. How many notes can this chip output at once? Is it possible to program it to play 8 or 9 notes at once, or is it monophonic? Brilliant videos, thanks.
It is monophonic.
@@HAGIWO Thanks for your quick response. Would you happen to be able to recommend anything that is capable of polyphony in a similar format?
Nice one, keep these coming ❤
Great idea. I have a Behringer Pro-1 and I really want an LFO with less 'amount' but also I'd like to introduce delay to the lfo. I guess you could do this with arduino code?
thanks! is arduino pro micro also capable???
Hey, nice! Most of these "simple" VCO synths I see sound like garbage, but this sounds great. Nice job! A little trick i found to get pots like that to stay put, and keep from wiggling out of place, is to get 4 header pins, then snap that in half so you have 2 for each side of the pot. Then, you push the pins all the way through so the plastic sits at the very top of the pins, then gab some pliers and bend the pins inward so that the plastic pieces push against the pot when you insert them in the holes on either side. Hope that made sense!
Hallo Hagiwo , Many thanks again for this wonderful project , from the schematics I could see that this would only be for CV generating/editing modules, but, would it be possible to make audio generating/processing modules with the same pcb,s by swapping the arduino nano with a LGT8F328P which has the same dimensions as the nano, the same pinout but is faster than the nano and has an adc and a dac on board? Thx grtz
I haven't tried it, but I think compatible boards can be diverted. pin placement may need to be modified.
loool, what Language is that on ur Links ??
Its the worlds second most spoken language with over 1billion speakers, have another guess.
Japanese. Automatic browser translation is recommended.
@@UnauthorisedService that's Mandarin Chinese you're thinking of, the website is in Japanese which has far fewer speakers around the world (a quick estimate seems to be below 200 million)
Would a delay or pitch shift be possible using MOD1?
This module doesnt process audio , it generates small voltages.
Great Hagiwo, 🙏 thanks again
Greetings. Excellent project! Can you clarify the type of switch used for the mode switch? This looks on the schematic to be SPDT, center off. ON-OFF-ON type. I have seen quite a few clones of your design on github that show SPDT ON-ON and it seems those folks are missing out on the "w/ bass" mode.
do you sell the too or we have to diy
Is possible to buy this on china?
Yes, seeed boards can be bought in China.
Where?
Where I can buy it?
This is a DIY project and cannot be purchased.
I would love to see the bezier random get ported to this platform!
This MOD1 platform keeps getting better! I hope you will make a post or video about the specific prompts for generating code for these, as you had teased in the YT poll 😊
We need a tap clock tempo with BPM display for accurate sync, however I will already provide the parts to assemble this one :)
Very usefull, love the tap tempo ❤
How do you make the panels?
ruclips.net/video/mtH72Yjct5I/видео.html please check this video.
@HAGIWO great thank u so much
Make a "Function clone" from Make Noise
God bless you tha k you
nice finally located your video 2024. prices have increased out of control.
Turns out I'm going to need 20 different mods :) Boards are in production as we speak.
Honestly i am amazed by your work.
thanks again !!!
Not sold on this.....hearing few variations, or anything compelling to my ears......(sorry)
It does the Make Noise Maths type of waveform?
It can't make waveforms as complex as MATHS, but it can do something similar because of the EoC output.
@@HAGIWO I mean, compared to your third arduino project with MCP4911 10bit DAC, it does the same curves or more? - Also, in your touch controller like pressure points, what is the name of those 4 metal touch censors pieces? I just don´t seem to find it anywhere on the web...
Interesting module!
Could you tell me which toggle switch position (open or connecting to ground) indicates which mode (glitch/burst vs. gate delay)?
Sick u are pumping videos out!! Is mod1 a new line u are doing?
Its a single general-purpose module that you can load with different firmwares for different functions
Since only the software is changed with the same hardware, it is easy to make. Moreover, the software is mostly AI-generated.
Great work man. Love your modules. I have built a few already and this looks good !
pretty sick Professor.. thank you
Your MOD1 is very nice! A front plate without labels but with simple white rectangles for writing labels with a sharpie would be nice for such a universal module. It sparked immediately some ideas, a CV-Delay, a Gate-Delay. Random Gate, Chance Gate, Variable Clock Divider. Thanks for all your great ideas. And Merry Christmas and have a good new year.
great, thanks again professor!!.
Would this be compatible with an RTC (battery backed real-time clock?) it would be great to use as a time synced LFO.
I think significant modifications would be necessary to use RTC.
Looks very nice, regards!
Amazing!
dude this module looks so nice and profesional you could easely sell this for like 50-70 bucks
are you sure you're not confusing the module with the analyzer next to it?
@@Vospi yes im sure have you seen module prices?
I can see that being realistic as long as it had a nicer panel tbh
