Oh girl I want to hug you ! I went back to university at 30+ starting from this January 2024, in March in I was diagnosed with severe adhd combined type. Started meds (Vyvanse) and believe it or not, I became more calmer, and memory retention improved, and the first exams (58%) was a nightmare, I was sitting hours reading and re-reading ... and I could not concentrate, months after meds my grades now 80%+ with less stress/time .. I finally felt what it's like to have less noise in my head and I do have family and 3 kids and I am so glad I was diagnosed my life generally improved, communication, planning, my speech became less chaotic and super fast. I started to look like a normal person... I was born in country where there is a lot of stigma about mental health , and my whole life I was struggling.. my school and college back in the years I was always hearing "you have so much potential - try harder, focus more"... and on meds I just started be Able to concentrate and do what I have to do instead of jumping from one thing to another.. like you start to do assignment, then decided to google , then 30 tabs open , then your phone notifications... thanks god I can complete things . 😊😅

After Ritalin Adult gave me a depression my doctor prescribed me Vyvanse. Today was my first day and oh lord...it feels so much better. I'm concentraded, but not hyper in any form and it seems not to change my personality. ❤️ Looking forward to the next days! 👌

Excellent video! My doctor started me on a very low dosage to avoid side effects and the 'on/off switch' moment. (I'm at 30mg after 6 weeks) Videos like yours have been instrumental in helping me understand what I should be feeling. It took 21 years after my initial diagnosis as a child to start medication, and even the small effects I'm experiencing now feel like a step in the right direction. I'm still putting in effort with my scheduling, timeboxing, and Pomodoro techniques, but the improvements, like being able to focus for more than 20 minutes, avoiding interruptions, or remembering to respond to messages, are incredibly encouraging and enlightening. I'm looking forward to experiencing the full effects when I reach a higher dosage. I still feel like I'm on the verge of discovering what's possible once I find the right dosage. Thank you for sharing your experience; it's incredibly validating for those of us just starting this journey.

I enjoyed your reaction very much but I also want to thank you for a couple of things. It astounds me that some reactor videos have such crappy sound. They want people to support their channel but they can’t be bothered to produce a good video. The sound of the video here is excellent. Also, along the same line, you had the volume at a perfect volume level. The 3rd thing is that the sync between the audio and video were perfect here. Hello, I'm forty seven and was diagnosed with ADHD last year. I'm currently in my second week of tritiation. Obviously I've watched a lot of videos from other ADHD sufferers because that's what we do. I'm commenting to say thank you for this video, I know it was probably very hard for you to make our you may even look back and be embarrassed by it. But personally it has been very helpful for me and I thank you for it.

I’m new to the whole Vyvanse world and am picking up my prescription in a bit. I have been taking adderall slow release which has helped but we are having a national shortage so my doctor switched me. I was noticing that you were talking about how you had not eaten or drink much in the two days that you were working. I always have to remember to eat and drink. I set reminders. Eating,drinking and not getting enough sleep can effect your energy,mood,and focus. Just something to be mindful of. Hope everything goes well for you!

I'm 60 years old and on by Vyvance. I went to 50 mg to 60 mg after the first month. 2 months on 60 mg, now on 70 mg. Curious what kind of work do you do? I have had horses for 25 years now. Down to my last horse. I worked all summer to improve her stalls. I shoveled 1/4 yard myself, though out summer. No help except with the stall mats. I took my time, and stayed focused. I'm glad I did. Hard work, and doubt I do that ever again. I'm concerned about heart disease at my age. Vyvance is known to cause heart problems?
