So it’s not necessary to use a tear away stabilizer when stitching? And I’m surprised you are able to separate the fused fabrics to make that little snip!! Does that work with all fusible web (like Heat and Bond) so you think? Thanks for this helpful video!!

I used to watch this video all the time because I love crumbs and because this video is comforting to me. Since then I’ve moved into my new house and trying to get back into crumb quilting. And I couldn’t remember how I looked you up in the past. I searched sewing with red scrap fabric. I want to see you sew more crumbs and just talking about nothing important. I like watching you sewing too.

Neat work! I’m going to try the button hole setting to see how it turns out. I think this, blanket stitch looks more handmade than others. I’m not sure about cutting out reverse of shape if it’s for a decorative item, perhaps only on soft furnishings to make it softer, more comfortable on a pillow or quilt.

Great tip but if affordable, treat yourself to a cutting machine. I use brother scan n cut. Saves hours of this! Xx

trying to applique a marijuana leaf (no judging) long, thin with notches close together and on both sides of each leaf. tried turned edge. not very good results. this fusible technique just might work. thanks. my sewing machine skill will need to be very good.

I'm learning quilting and I really like the simplicity of your designs. The only thing is you never show what it looks like when your done. I can't tell if what you've done will work cuz all I'm seeing is the space you quilt, not the results. It would be nice if you could at least take a picture to show the context.

I have two or three rulers that are supposed to make binding easier, but this method is easier and works better than any of the rulers or other directions I have! I just used it for the second time. I am so glad I found it! I saved it and deleted all the other methods I had saved. Thank you!
