The maker of this movie is still alive!

What a wonderful film and also what a very sad insight to how we British were so narrow minded. What a light that young man was and how shameful it is that many wanted that light to be dimmed or snuffed out, until at the end when his brilliance shone through and could be evidenced. A very moving film with such talented actors.

I'd seen this movie previously, though not the very beginning. As soon as I saw it here on the list, headphones were on and I was into it. 11 minutes 12 seconds, and I'd stopped it. It's just too real, too confronting. The man was an absolute genius, he did calculations in his head because it was faster than if he used an abacus... there's proof in itself. Even if that's all you see of the movie. Him, Von gogh, Princess Diana... those good people all died young. They were too good for this world... far too good.

What a great movie👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Actually I wanted to watch this movie since 2018 but due to some of my stupid procrastination i somehow kept postponing it. I had downloaded this movie many times but due to my busy schedule and other priorities i couldn't finish this movie till today,l. Earlier i used to watch the part of 20-30 min only and the i wasn't able to continue due to some other things. But today on the day of 2nd feb-2025 i finally finished this movie but i have finished in many parts like it has taken 5-7 days to finish it. But i am happy that i have finished this movie finally. My eyes are tearful for the legend Ramanujan sir. The Actor Dev patel has done justice with the role he has done an excellent acting & actor Jeremy Irons also played G.H. Hardy's role perfectly well. This movie is an absolute masterpiece no over drama, no exaggeration , no emotions etc but just pure class has been shown in a movie. And i think this has happened because this movie was made by foreigners not by indians & that too very unfortunate & frustrating thing because we indians not done anything to show our generations how legendary Ramanujan was.. there are some movies made in india i am not denying but still we indian specially young generations have not given his due till now. I just want to salute the makers of the movie director Matthew Brown, writer for the book. " The man who knew infinity" Robert Kanigel producers Edward Pressman, jim young and others these people have done great job to make this excellent film and last i'd say that i wish i could watched this movie a little bit earlier then that would have been more good thing but i am happy that i have doen today. 02/02/2025 Sunday 11:11PM

Ramanujan was quite chubby, DEv Patel, on the other hand is quite thin. That's ok with me but I wonder if they would ever consider to do the opposite: choose a fat actor to play an actual thin real life character...
