Great video, thank you! Which lens were you using?
Thanks so much! It was the 75mm 2.8
Great video man, hoping to take my images to market this year. Where do you get your prints done? Do you have a local print shop you use?
that first photo was surreal. truly amazing :)
Thanks so much!
I stopped watching this video because I don't believe anything that someone wearing a mask has to say. But, you keep being you. Lmao at you.
Appreciate your insight! 😷
Very nice compositions and explanations of conditions and your process. White balance on your video was WAY warmer than your still images. Think I preferred the warmer tones; did you just use in-camera auto WB on both video and still cameras?
wicked video paidi! good to see you posting again
Gorgeous! Daylesford is an amazing spot. How wonderful is it that photography can take you out for *8* hours, purely to observe and appreciate your surroundings. This is the way.
Some great shots there Paidi. Did you use Kodak Gold 200 film stock?
Thanks so much! Portra 160 for this session, would’ve loved to use gold if I had some at the time
Really like the photo at 6:24 man! Great stuff.
Thanks heaps Mike!
Awesome work Paidi! Keep it up
Thanks for the support dude! New video every 2 weeks is the plan
Yapping to people is half the fun. I haven't done markets for over 20 years but am planning to get back into them.
Couldn’t agree more! Goodluck with it! Looking forward to summer to get back to them myself as well
Great job for your first time on MF for a waterfall. I dropped you a message on your Insta.
Great stuff man! Love the detail that thing captures.
My man is back!! Great video mate
Yes the sunset will be good ✌🏼
🫡 Prints all yours if you want it Dan! Shoot me a message on Instagram (@PaidiFlynn) and I’ll get it sorted for you
@@paidiflynn3491 Just messaged you 👌🏼
Great video man. You're killing it with the film.
Thanks heaps dude! Really enjoying using film as I’m slowly getting my head around it all, so thanks heaps!
Point Addis is always a great spot for pictures, gorgeous location. great vid paidi!!
Such an incredible spot, definitely a go-to for me! Thanks heaps mate!
Beautiful clean shots man!
When I was in Seoul in 2018 I found a Bronica for sale in a shop for around 90€, I'll always regret not buying it 😅
Oh no! Hopefully it’s ended up with a good owner Atleast 😂
Loved the video Paidi! Gorgeous pics
Thanks heaps mate!
Great work Paidi.. always enjoy your photography vlogs.. and enjoyed learning about your new Bronica ETRS.. keep making magic happen ;-)
Thanks very much Dez! I’ve still got plenty more to learn about the Bronica as well! But thanks again and I hugely appreciate the support!
@@paidiflynn3491 - if you're ever in Sydney, or around Mosman / Cremorne point, give me a yell, I'd love to buy you lunch, show you some of the local spots, swap some tips and ideas, I'm always open to learn from others.. ( google me, my contact deets are wide open on the web hee hee )
Especially like the first image Paidi - thanks for sharing.
Thanks Graeme! No worries at all, thanks so much for watching!
Great video Paidi and awesome shots!
Thanks heaps dude! Your calendars on the way, hope you like it!
Hey, Did you use a CPL filter (polarizer)? which brand? Amazing picture!
Very cool video!
Beautiful!
Those 35mm disposable cameras are pretty not bad, if you ever want to experiment with some cheaper ammo sometime.
Great idea! I’ll have to give one a go sometime
I love new youtuber, they made great contents of course with no bs like popular channels 🤣, keep a good works 👍🏻😘
I just got this channel as a recommendation and I enjoyed your video. That rainbow happening behind the tree was incredibly lucky!
Thanks for checking out the channel! Definitely super lucky timing there!
That rainbow shot is better then anything I've done in 6 years of film shooting and hundreds of rolls
Thanks so nice of you to say Connor! Definitely just a beginner’s fluke, you should see the rubbish ones that didn’t make the cut, haha
Really enjoyed this, nice work! 👍
Thanks heaps!
Awesome work! I’d recommend getting a shutter release cable if you’re shooting mostly locked off on a tripod. They’re cheap and can help with any little movements.
Thanks so much Tyler! I’ve just borrowed the camera again, this time with a release cable - looking forward to giving it a go!
Good work!
Thanks so much!
Amazing shots! I agree with everyone else, that first one with the rainbow, amazing.
Thanks very much! Right place right time with that rainbow one!
Great shots! The rainbow photo was amazing.
Thanks so much mate! Glad I happened to be there at the right time to have that rainbow line up with the tree!
Killed it mate. That shot with the rainbow is amazing!
Thanks heaps Mike! Super lucky to get that rainbow lining up with the tree
Superb 👍
Thankyou!
Awesome photos :D Where is this?
Thankyou! It’s a place called the Dog Rocks tree, just outside of Geelong Victoria
@@paidiflynn3491 thanks! Ive driven through that area before... is there a lake or river there?
Mate those shots came out awesome! especially the first one. good stuff
Thanks heaps dude! Lucky timing with the rainbow on that first one
Lovely last shot Have you tried cropping out the sun burst? Think it's a stronger composition, with less distraction
Thankyou! I did frame up that composition in-camera but didn’t end up shooting it, with the lack of anything interesting in the sky (cloud-wise) I felt including the sun helped create a bit more atmosphere
Thank you for sharing your headspace. I deal with a lot of the same thoughts too. Great shot too!
No worries at all, glad it may have been helpful! Thanks very much for watching!
Beautiful comp there with the mossy rock in the foreground and the golden sunstar aswell mate. Also totally relate to what your said about shooting popular locations, but at the end of the day whatever photo you take at a spot (ground breaking or not) will be unique because it was taken by you. :)
Thanks dude! Glad to hear you can relate on that! Yep that’s definitely what we’re gotta remember when it comes to the popular spots, plus even without getting a photo it’s always great to just explore
Nice work! Can get really misty down there too on the right days. I also got smashed out there surfing quite a few times haha! Keep it up!
Thanks so much! Oh wow it would be awesome down there with some mist! The swell looked pretty hectic when I was there at times so I can imagine, haha. Thanks again!
Great video and pictures Paidi, I totally get being in a rut creatively, I haven’t done much photography this year but I’ll try and get back into again…
Thanks heaps dude! It’s definitely a tough feeling, hey? Glad to hear you’re getting out again though, that one you posted from Queenscliff Pier recently was awesome!
Geelong local & I have just subscribed. I got here from seeing your Gibson Steps Reddit post.
Thanks so much! Glad to hear you’ve made it over from the reddit post!
Really amazing photos, well done. Also Ginger Beer tastes great ;)
Thanks heaps man! Must be an acquired taste, haha
Great video! I just got the Z6ll and have been searching for video's on it and your video showed up. You have a new subscriber!
Thanks Dennis! I did the same when I first got mine and couldn’t find a whole lot of landscape related stuff for the z6ii - Hopefully you found this video useful!
Great video paidi!!
Thanks so much man!
Nice video, Paidi. I used to do the markets and it went pretty much exactly as you've described. I knocked it on the head a few years ago because the ratio of effort to profit just wasn't worth it. When you add up the costs of the market insurance, your stall's furniture, the cost of the stall hire, getting stuff printed and framed and then of course the time cost - an entire day spent in a community hall or show ground - it just didn't make any sense to me. It always went better at the pre-xmas markets and if I could have sold calendars year-round at the rate they went in the two months prior to xmas I could retire - but unfortunately that's not the case. But cheers for the video, I think I'll do a video about why I packed the markets in :)
Superb video 👍
Thanks Gli!
