From my pov Ador CEO had tried hard to connect with and accommodate the girls and provide a good schedule for their progress, but they only want MHJ. Strangely when given the opportunity to produce for them she said no, even though in her words they are talentless, fat, lazy and nothing without her. Go figure, they never gave anyone else a chance because they bought into MHJ narrative. So basically she created the music not them. Equal respect is good but they are a very new group who needs to earn that, and the way they treat people they never will.

If you sense the girls don't treat people well, you have more knowledge about them than me. I do agree MHJ is a huge contributor to NJ's success (look at what she arranged in Japan in the middle of the nonsense -- brilliant marketing to work with Yoasobi (sp?) and such, filling domes(!) and having her girls sing nostalgic Japanese songs to nail both Japanese and Koreans' hearts, somehow feeling the zeitgeist to maximize her girls' value. No wonder they want to work with MHJ only and think of the new CEO as Hybe's puppet. One thing (among many I can cite as well), but one anecdote about the fat man persistently ignoring Hani... Ah, even in a paternalistic society (or, especially in one) where elders are held in great regard and younger folk must give the elders great respect, a powerful male upper manager (ultimate CEO in this case) totally ignoring you connotes a strong, strong message. Perhaps that message was really aimed at MHJ but I can't blame the girls for not wanting to work for him, no way in -hell- heck. But yes, let's see how it plays out. There's a term called economic populism, a tendency for individuals to support policies that appear to favor "free enterprise" or "hard work" but actually benefit large corporations, and I believe Koreans are particularly susceptible to that given how powerful the chaebols and other corporations are. (Not saying you are one of them, or that you are Korean even).

@@tripicus of course we are all welcome to our own opinions. No I am not Korean, I am Australian which is why I took an initial interest in NJ and Stray Kidz. The more I have read of this situation and watched their broadcasts and interviews the more I feel these girls are following a strategy from MHJ. I believe most if not all incidents they have mentioned are either totally fabricated or grossly exaggerated. I base this on the lack of concrete evidence they have provided and their behaviour, which I judge based on over 40 years of teaching girls their age. Of course I may be totally wrong but I feel they have been planning this behaviour from the very start and it wasn't based in a need to escape Ador/Hybe but in the desire to damage them as much as possible - for many possible reasons. Even their current behaviour seems designed to either make Ador give up and let them leave because they are so toxic, or reduce the value of the company so that the penalties they would pay are much less. We may never know the whole truth and I think only the courts will decide. We will have to wait and see. You seem to reflect their lack of respect in calling BSH "the fat man", very disappointing. I have also read reports that yes the Japanese strategy was good in terms of content but the Tokyo Dome did not sell out and they lost money on that tour. Perhaps the translations I read were incorrect but most were confirmed by a Korean friend.

@@lizbailey7748 I appreciate your pov. I don't know the details of what's going on, just what I learn from youtube. I guess everything will play out. Some of the girls have reached their twenties but they started as teens and MHJ molded them and they found success. I do think you were somewhat contradictory when you said NJ was basically MHJ leading them well, and then describe their recent Japan experience as quite bad. It seemed pretty astute but I admit she is not that easy to like, even to me, especially in Korea where strong, opinionated women are frowned upon. And "fat man" was unnecessarily pejorative, which makes my other words have less weight.

And bunnies had to collab with another fandom to try to win one of them, which they did not. I’m not sure what you are looking at or watching but brand recognition has dropped tremendously in the past few months. Koreans really turned against them after the National Assembly debacle.
