A message for those who feel like quitting on life
Often in life, we quit in certain endeavors if we don't notice results right off the bat.
We are impatient, and want a quick fix for everything.
What would life be though without a challenge?
Struggle & adversity is what mold your character, if you can rise to the occasion. This is no different with your health & fitness.
For any of those reading this that are out of shape &/or struggle to commit to their fitness journey, this is your call to action in going all in. You did NOT get out of shape & fat within a few weeks, this happened instead day by day of inaction that kept compounding over time.
Every time you tell yourself that you're going to start working out & eating healthier but fail to...

STOP SACRIFICING MUSCLE FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Weight loss pills & supplements have become increasingly popular in recent years. This appeals to many overweight people who want to shed those stubborn extra pounds. Many of these people pose this question to themselves "why would I spend months & even years busting my butt in the gym & dieting, if I can take a pill or supplement that will get me those results much faster?"The truth is, these ...

    Well, it’s not really an ‘either-or’ type thing. You can take a GLP-1 med, AND do resistance training. There’s absolutely nothing that precludes doing both at the same time, though I’d agree that ppl with normal BMIs shouldn’t be on them. One thing though… the meds are not a fad, and aren’t going away. The successful trainers will be the ones that learn to work well WITH the meds, not the ones that simply see them as ‘competition’ and try to put them down at every opp. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @desavinofitness20 I used to Olympic lift in the mornings and powerlift in the evenings. Done it for years. I was the 2nd strongest in my school (😭) I had trainers for powerlifting and one of them in particular would yell at me about my knee postlition. Until I fixed it. My point is I only want to pass on what was given to me. You're strong but not unbreakable! Drop 50% of the weight. Do slow steady reps in a mirror (box reps wouldn't hurt) and physically watch your knees for deviance. Then increase the weight and repeat until you find the weight you struggle to keep correct form on and work with that weight. It's usually some form of balancer muscle that causes the knees to buckle like that. 😊 I'll stop being a know it all now! Stay safe!

    I used to work out really hard when I was in my late 20s. After turning thirty I slowed down because people used to tell me that after 30 risk of injury was higher and I needed to be careful, this turned out to be not true. at 35 I started working out just as hard or harder than in my 20s and have not had a problem. I'm 45 now and people think that I am around 30 years old because of form. I have always eaten as clean as i possibly can. I do cheat meals maybe once or twice a month when I am with family. I make sure that i rest well so that I can work out and maintain what I now have. My dad started working out with me at 67 years old, we started him out really slow and built him up. He has muscular arms, legs and his torso is strong too. We only use food for protein no powders of any kind or supplements. Muscle can be had at any age it all depends on what you put in your body and your workouts.

    • @desavinofitness20
      @desavinofitness20 2 месяца назад

      @@Ozmni11 very true. Of course, training intensity plays a big role in it too. That makes sense that training harder in your 40’s will lead to more growth than if you’re in your 20’s. I was taking into consideration hard & consistent training and proper diet & recovery year in & year out. It’s true that this rule doesnt apply to everyone. Everyone’s body is different. Mileage on the body plays a big part too. The better we take care of our bodies, and the smarter training plan that is put in place, we can still see gains well past 30 or so.
