I think the closest friend and the woman he actually loved was Mary even though he had various relationships in his life.

Thankyou so much for everything you are sharing about Freddie, but one thing that I noticed, and perhaps its not that important, still he wasnt all gay? After all he was with women as well, I guess he fell in love with a person , not just the gender.

I remember Queen a little from my youth but I never fell in love with Queen until my 70’s and now I can’t get enough. Thank you Peter for your book and this channel for keeping Freddie alive for us. 💜

Eventhough you may have been Freddie Mercurys PA and be required to be at his side when he wanted you to be, it seems like you were more his best friend than employee just from everything I've seen online and from stories both you and Freddie's other friends and acquaintances have mentioned. So I'd say you and Mary were the two most important people in Freddie's live and I can see from the outside looking in that your caring nature, personality,upbeat spirit and loyalty were all the reasons why he chose to make you one of those two most important people. Best wishes to you my friend and to your future endeavors.

Hi Peter, I have fond memories of meeting you, many years ago in Torquay. I came to your hotel to provide some entertainment for your guests, I’d just taken a little booking that seemed exactly like 100s of others. But when I arrived……wow. It was certainly not a normal situation for me! I’d been a Queen fan since I was a little boy, and I immediately noticed all of the memorabilia you had beautifully displayed in the hotel. When I asked you about it and you explained who you were I was floored! You were very gracious and were kind enough to share a few stories with me about your time with Freddie and from what I remember my little gig was really nice and we finished the evening all singing we are the champions. Glad you are well after all these years and thank you for that wonderful memory that I still think of from time to time. One of my most memorable gigs from my 26 years in the business.! All The best

Did you know when all his cats died did Mary ever tell you I don't know how you felt about her after she threw us all out just a wonderful person she's a horrible horrible person I know Freddy would be upset saying that but he really didn't know what she was going to do once she took over the house I don't think he thought she would have done that
