Very nice ! Does a larger flywheel would reduce more the back and forth vibration ?
Possibly. However, I think vibration mainly cause from weak cantilever frame design.
@@Jackal82JPN Don't you think it is due to the non-constant-velocity joint ?
@@Nico71Fr The vibration is caused by a non-constant velocity joint, and this module takes advantage of this property by lifting the ball at the moment the hand pauses at the lowest point.

You dont get to see many unique modules in the actual lineups. Just a bunch of fundamental repeats. I want more of this.

correct. I always use old style motor. they are confortable with 9V speed controller, durable, cheap.

Wow, I always love seeing GBC layouts but most of the American ones in recent years have felt like they're starving for new ideas - most of the modules are very similar even though the layouts are big. This one however has so many new and amazing ideas I've never seen anyone use for GBC modules before, it's extremely refreshing. Great work to everyone involved.

Amazing work as usual. I love the smoothness of the motions on this one and the fact that it take 2 full rotations before the ball is released.
The most consistent catapult I've ever seen. I have tried and failed to achieve such repeatability. Best of 2023.
Thank you. Actually it often “walks” by shooting impact so necessary to put some sticky thing under the module or connect heavy module to the input section.
@@Jackal82JPN i wonder if using rubber parts like dart heads or flexible connectors would provide enough damping to keep it from walking, or if that would have a large impact on repeatability or range.
