i typically record as i travel, i'll often be out still at night and sometimes (more than sometimes) something record worthy happens

yeah, pretty common for the nambour line during peak and with the Gympie North service

there are also travel train services that you can use but cost extra

@@mattyconway5579 they seem to be removing it in the refurbishments so I guess then you’ll see it gone once they are done.

@@hestercole-r8t 6 car trains will run on it, when needed but no, after Ipswich it’s 3 cars for passengers

@@seantrainandstormvids maybe, idk even in peak it never seems that busy, nothing that can’t be fixed with just running more frequently, but if we keep purchasing fixed 6 cars we’ll have to eventually

not sure kippa ring will be the normal pair, but we'll find out when they finalise the stopping pattern

@@jeffkaplentm yeah, I was hoping to record a bit of it, but the crowds were too much so I ended up waking to Roma Street to get to the valley taking an hour from end of fireworks to getting to Roma street so I just went straight to the valley which ruined any filming chances.

@@josephmarks8164 it’s a temporary alteration with Cross River Rail works with peak services with Gold Coast trains following too close, I believe it’s due to revert to normal mid this year.

its not too hard to find them so its not the end stages, but its nowhere near what it was when finding them was the normal on most lines

And with the IMU sets now replacing the ICE sets

@ peak is usually a good bet, off peak there’s one Kippa ring train a day if you know the time that can sometimes be one, otherwise just wait out for Cleveland or Ferny grove

nice, palmwoods is good fun for seeing reverse moves

it will be good to see how that station progresses into 2025, hopefully opening 2025 also

i'm not entierly sure but the train was late so i guess they wanted to either turn it around sooner, or wanted to run it into northgate faster, either way the next northgate train was 10 mins behind it

its umm, not meant to happen so once in a million right there

High chance it was Driver fatigue. As they forgot to disarm the brakes

i dont remember but there were other services for caboolture
