Howdy Jeff I have followed your career for some time as you are one of my all time favorite singer. Actually the singer in my band also shared a love and respect for your vocal talents. I think the only project we collectively couldn't get behind was Panther (I hope this is the correct name). My singer passed away a couple of years ago, but tried to borrow from his favorite singers such as your self, Dio, Geoff Tate, as well as a couple of Hispanic vocalist that had vibrato and knew how to use it. We both hoped to someday to crack the market playing the music we loved in the style of heavy but melodic metal. We played all the clubs on L.A. circuit and then some small theaters and arenas. But as things happen in life, he and I were pulled in different directions and our musical careers were not to be. I actually met you at a Van Hagar show at Irvine Meadows. You needed to get back stage and the people working security were showing you no love, so my girl and I got backstage and I grabbed her pass and came out and got you back stage. All done out of much love and respect. I was glad to hear about Mike Portnoy but sad that Sons of Apollo would've put on the back burner. Chemistry is a scary thing and Sons had it in spades.
