How to build a Bushcraft Bridge Start to Finish (ATV Bridge)
I gathered logs to create a bridge over the creek. I used lashing to connect the logs on the platform. Place a log structure below the bridge for support and dug down 30 inches to go below frost line.

I do not understand why one would put so much energy into a survival shelter. If you are concerned about survival, you need, in my opinion, to use that tarp and a ridge line to quickly make an A frame shelter, then have a fire, eat, and sit back, conserving your energy. Too much work to your A frame for me.

I have fell a LOT of trees (own an outdoor furnace) and I have a bad lower back. I NEVER fell a tree at ground level and never understood why one would put themselves in that position of such limited movement. I notch mine at waist level so I am mobile, I can better swing an axe on my wedges and can better watch what the tree is doing. After I fell the tree and buck it, I cut off the remainder of the stump at ground level and get an extra round out of it...easy peasy and safer too. Just my opinion and I know everyone has one...give it a try and see for yourself!
