It has been since 1991, and I still want a drink when things get bad. I just want to escape for a little while. Watching Frank....helps me keep the glass down.

Ppl are acting as if Lips mindset didn’t change after a while. Yes, he was a bit harsh on Fiona but he soon realized that it was not deserved. Debbie was a much worse sibling to Fiona imo. She never accommodated Fiona with the proper love and respect that she deserved after Fiona took care of her ungrateful A** for ALL of her life.

I feel like fiona was making her responsibilities of the kids into an excuse. She made so many mistakes, lip called her out for it but she always said that they should be more grateful. Yes, taking care of all 5 kids and frank was extremely difficult but 100% didnt excuse her mistakes. It was a good decision for her to leave.

I get being mad at Fiona for hurting a family member but she as a kid into young adult hood took care of a ton of childrten of course she's messed up. And when the F did any of the others not act f-ed up? Lip was an acoholic too. She took care of him and when she needed help he just yelled at her like how dare she not continue taking care of him. He was more mad he couldn't do his studying than he was about anything else

Do people just ignore the fact that Fiona almost killed their little brother? Lip was mad because Fiona was an actual danger to everyone including herself in that moment. Yes, she did help him when he was at rock bottom, but this is an entirely different thing.

this show broke me a thousand different ways. The all had self destructive tendencies. Even when any of them tried to make something better of themselves, life smacked them hard in the face which triggered those tendencies as a first response. Not that any of this was their fault, initially, maybe not even Franks as loathsome as he was. But at some point you have to recognize your own shit and decide to stop living in it.

Lip is so stupid like you barely do Fiona’s role and you get so exhausted how do you think she feels having doing that all her life she never got to be her own person to make mistakes she had to do that with taking care of everybody

Fiona was really off her rocker towards the end and at first I thought all the grief she was given from her siblings was valid, but over time I realized that it wasn’t. She was a little kid when she took over the house and never had anything for herself. The second she tried to do anything to invest in her future she got shot down and set back ten steps. She had a breakdown, so did all of them. The difference is she was there to help everyone else through theirs and they kicked her out when she needed help for once. In reality, most siblings would split as soon as they got the chance in her situation. All of these kids went through it but when people like Debbie try to kick Fiona out after everything she’s done, it makes me heated.
