Our (literally) unplugged rendition of a macabre Scottish ballad on All Hallows' Eve 2023.
"Are Ye Sleepin', Maggie?" was written in the Scots language by the Scottish poet Robert Tannahil (1774-1810).
Since Tannahill was a cotton weaver by trade, we chose to interweave his song with the popular Irish reel known as "Drowsy Maggie", and named this interwoven fabric "Are Ye Drowsy, Maggie?".
