We just became a DR dealer whre I work. DR shipped some heavy duty blades in to us - those things are MASSIVE. I was doing the Receiving check off on the shipment and it was all I could do to lift a pair of them...
I'm actually looking at the DR premier. I only have a few areas but a lot cheaper than a tractor.

How is it on hills. Especially steep hills?
@@thomaskirby4677 I found that the more you try to fight it that it will win and you will be tired out. I found that try use a lower gear on the hills and it will go better. I had a steep bank (about 200 feet long and about 6 to 8 feet up to the road.) The first time I was worn out but as I got used to it it was a lot easier. On hills I always found it was easier going up than going down. Since then we moved and I sold it but I wish I had it back. Good luck with yours.....Dave
Nice video. I think you’ve got the right idea showing the results. I’ve got two hints for you though, pick up a medium duty Stihl trimmer, put a hedge trimmer on the business end and that will allow you to get your deck in closer to the bottom of the brush. Don’t forget to fill your tires with slime. If you don’t it’s a long pull back to the house with a flat tire. Also when it comes time to change those tires on there are useful life is gone, as far as I can tell they snowblower tires.
What about if there are rocks hidden in overgrowth.

Its too bad that DR does not stand behind there warranty they will lie to you and lead you on. If you take it to a place to have it worked on DR will not pay them. So keep that in mind when you buy anything from them !

so I have one of the original DRtrimmers and it is still going strong so warranty was never an issue, I called one time concerning a coil for engine and they had it in the mail overnight. I guess if you cant fix anything on your own this could be a problem but I live in arural area where we do our own repairs as we travel 2 hrs for any kind of service

@@crob8240 Sounds like you got a deal. I just paid around 5,200 for a 2019 model, 34 max, with a blade and chipper attachment to go along with the brush mower attachment.
