Dank! Ongeveer 1/3 van het eiland mag je niet vliegen maar nog steeds zat plekken om te vliegen. Hier is de officiële kaart van Griekenland van waar je wel en niet mag vliegen (helaas houdt niet iedereen zich daaraan) dagr.hasp.gov.gr/#map_page Bezoek de toeristische plekken bij zonsopkomst, bv uitkijkpunt shipwreck is ivm warmte/ droogte vaak afgesloten, en ‘s morgens vroeg is er helemaal niemand.Ik hou bv van rust in mijn beelden en probeer altijd zo min mogelijk mensen in beeld te hebben. Bij 1:52 is rond 6:30, en 4:23 is rond 11:00 om je een idee te geven. Er vliegen daar wel meer drones, ik zou vooral in de gaten houden of je een drone hoort, en je partner vragen (ga er vanuit dat je niet alleen gaat) om uit te kijken naar andere mensen met een afstandsbediening want veel mensen zijn onervaren en houden geen rekening met anderen, en je wilt natuurlijk niet dat je drone crasht oid. Ik liep op een gegeven moment naar iemand toe met de mededeling van: Pas ff op, ik vlieg daar.. Het eerste wat hij deed was die kant opvliegen.. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Geen idee hoe er ervaren je bent en welke drone je hebt, maar houd rekening met wind in en rond bergen.. Als je een klein droneetje hebt, waait hij zo weg en kom je niet meer terug tegen de wind in (niet om je bang te maken, maar gewoon een heads up) Als je wilt weten waar de beelden gemaakt zijn: in de omschrijving staan de locaties.

Dank voor het compliment! De onderwatershots heb ik gemaakt met de GoPro 11. Water bestaat uit twee delen. Eerste gedeelte snorkelend gedaan (tussen wateroppervlakte en -11 meter) en beelden nadat mijn vrouw in het water springt zijn tijdens de duik gemaakt.. Ja, er was meer snorkelend te zien dan met scuba.. 😬

Thanks! I don't think it’s an honest comparison. We’ve been to Iceland two times now, and both times there was a lot of cloud coverage. We’ve been to Norway nine times, three out of those nine times we’ve visited the Lofoten. We’ve had a lot of cloud coverage a couple of times in Norway as well but compared to Iceland, percentage wise, Norway had clearer skies. Maybe we weren’t at the right place at the right time.. The northern light in this video was a KP1/1.33 according to all the apps, in Norway it was more at the same moment. The ‘award’ for the nicest northern lights show(s) goes to Norway, but like I said, we’ve been there a lot of times, so more chances to see it! I’ve taken a lot of pictures if you are interested: dennisvandenbroek.nl/Reizen When we were in Tromsø, we spoke a Norwegian guy, he told us he had a friend living in Iceland. They both were fan of the northern lights, but many times they discussed the northern lights from the night before, the Icelandic guy didn’t see it because of the clouds. (And in my experience, I really believe him) I think all those clouds are because of the sea climate. It isn’t that cold in Iceland and the west of Norway. We’ve been to Finland twice, -25/-30° is pretty normal over there, and there aren’t so many clouds over there at night, because of the low temperatures I think. So in my opinion there’s more chance to see it in Finland than in Iceland and Lofoten. In Finland we were lucky to see a KP6! We weren’t at the right place at that time. We were chatting with some people we’ve met at a ski slope with all the lights on..) The scenery in Iceland and Lofoten is nicer because of all the mountains but they really look alike. Finland is flat, with a lot of trees and roads.. And Finland is also cheaper! Another thing: because there isn’t a lot of water that makes noise in Finland, and there isn’t a lot of wind all the time it can be very quiet.. The first time we saw the northern lights in Finland we could hear and smell it because there was no wind and noise at all! Try that in Iceland or Norway!

Thanks! Well, I think it’s ok that they don’t allow drones in a lot of places. If you allow it, a lot of people will fly in a lot of places with a lot of tourists, and not everybody is responsible enough.. Besides that: think about a nice, quiet place, but with ten drones in the sky…

Dank! Ik gebruik tijdens zonsopkomst/ zonsondergang zo min mogelijk filters, alleen ND filters als het té licht wordt. En echt heel veel heb ik niet nabewerkt eigenlijk, klein beetje verzadiging, contrast, de standaard dingetjes eigenlijk etc.. Denk dat het vooral het juiste moment en de juiste belichting een belangrijke rol spelen.. Soms zijn zonsopkomsten gewoon heel mooi, je hebt vooral een wat koudere lucht nodig, de zon en niet teveel wolken.

Thanks! Maybe the middle part is a little more boring, but I think the whole route is nice, much to see, mountains, bridges etc (that’s why we did the trip for several times now)! A tip I can give you: wake up early and go drive early, and take your time and stop as much as you’d like. You can drive it in six hours, but normally it takes us about ten/ eleven hours because we stop a lot. If you have any questions about where a certain shot was taken, ask and I can give you the gps location (I remember most locations)! Don’t know if you’re staying in Svolvær for a while, but is you stay there for a couple of nights you should visit Henningsvær (that’s the place with the soccer field cut out of the rocks and visit Hamnøy/ Reine (In the description of the video you can click and go to that chapter, and see what can be seen there)

Thanks for the compliment! From Tromsø to Svolvær you can drive in six hours, normally it takes us 10-12 hours because we stop so many times. 😂 Yes, it’s save, most rental cars have tires with spikes.. It saver driving there in the snow, then in wet conditions in my homeland.. I’m driving for more then 10 years now in winter in north Scandinavia, so you kind of getting used to it.

We’ve been to Norway very often and seen everything from Å to the Nordkapp in winter and we like all of it. Someday in the future, when we are older, we want rent/buy a camper and make the trip Å - Nordkapp in summer.. Thanks for the compliment!
