I just got one, do you still have yours and if so did anything fail, any issues that came with time?
Break Barrel rifles require experience to setup. They are a pain. They are less expensive and pack a punch for sure and accuracy is good enough. They are and never will be tack drivers. But they are good.
So let me get this straight. After inserting the 2 CO2 cartridges I can only keep those cartridges pressurized a short amount of time before damaging the rubber air seals? So if I only shoot 12 times in a session after that I must remove the new C02 cartridges the same day even though I still have 20 shots available? That can get expensive very quickly. The only way around this is to purchase an adaptor for an 88g CO2 cartridge cylinder, and use 88g cartridges which I can unscrew with the adaptor in place and be able to save the CO2 remaining in the 88g cartridge cylinder? I have read that I can insert a dead CO2 cartridge 1st, and then a new one and be able to use only one cartridge at a time per instance instead of having to waste 2 in one session. Can I leave the expended cartridge in the CO2 chamber, and just rotate out the full CO2 cartridge when I plan on using the air gun each morning or afternoon. This is a serious engineering flaw without a doubt. The only way around it is to use the adaptor, and an 88g cartridge cylinder in order to be able to use the same CO2 cartridge multiple times on different days.
Wild spread
I really like your very open, honest approach ...refreshing I must say.....love of air gunning and shooting isn't about what expensive gear you can show off....it's about learning knowledge and discovering passion....your video shows us these in abundance. Thank you. 🙂
I don’t want to hear their history, they’ve been around a long time. Just show me ballistics and opinions. You lost me within one minute into the video.
Thanks, man new to air rifles and this video helped me choose this rifle. So you only need to pump this gun once?
Very underrated video. Nice, detailed explanations, with close up camera views. Showing all important points, especially for folks like me, not familiar with this rifle.
I bought a F2 for the same reason. I've only used springers and was uncertain about committing to a PCP (still am ) and all the extra expense of a compressor/ scuba tank and no, I'm not going to use a hand pump, air gunning is supposed to be fun and pumping is no fun at all. I only paid $124 for my F2, an affordable introduction to recoilless air gunning. I like it for what it is, not fantastically accurate, no recoil or spring noise but to be honest. having used springers for so long that's what I'm going to stick with. Springers are easy to maintain, repair and need nothing extra to make them go combined with a practiced technique to shoot it well.
V interesting. I have A Whisper Maxxim. Wasn't cheap, single break barrel.
I like to watch accuracy test on air rifles, but so often like in yours you don’t say how many yards away you are when you’re shooting the groups. Please write it on the target, the yards or at least verbally say😮 8:17 8:17 long you were shooting in the yards
I thought the color of band on back indicated caliber
Not for target shooting, lmao don’t listen to this guy. Great gun for pest control, great gun for target practice. All around good gun for the price point
great video! I got mine arriving this thursday. I have some pesky ground squirrels in my parents backyard that keep eating our apples from our tree, and digging under our fence. Also have gophers in the lawn. Time to introduce them to the good ol' Daisy 880 Powerline
Thanks for showing me about this rifle! I bought me one and waiting on the arrival!
Nice
Time for a new video 😉👍
Still a great pump gun even though it is mostly plastic, ruclips.net/user/postUgkxh4su9YgU1tWmjikirWcKJbjsFLEU62Bc but with care it will last a long time. It would be neat if Crosman would make a commemorative version of this with real wood stock, but of course it would weigh more and cost more, but hey, it would be cool. The included scope is more of a toy, but it does work for backyard plinking. I prefer to use pellets for greater accuracy, but BBs are just as good for plinking. This is not a Red Ryder folks; fully pumped it is 3 times the power of a Red Ryder and can be dangerous if not handled properly. Be safe out there.
If I hold it in arm next to barrel then air blow always knock of the battery cover.
How does it load the next pellet in?
How much and where to order?
Привет ! 177 калибр сколко джоул ??? Скорость с пулями jsb eqzaq диаболами 0,547 грам ?
Hello ! Vat joules ????
I like the gun but it sucks.even tried different brand pellets and still can't get constant grouping. Had to retighten scope twice .just expected better
Barthelona Esthpaña, mucha gente compra los rifles de aire.
Do you need some sort of gas or CO2 for this?
No
how do you zoom
Did those red fire pallets fit in the magazine?
Just got mine yesterday, and set it up and finished sighting it in to day, shot a 5 shot group and got 3 with in 1/2 inch and pulled the other to slightly so opened up the group to 3/4 inches. It was over 40 years ago sense shooting a springer so think with some practice I should be able to tighten up to a 1/2 inch 5 round group. I was using X-sport practice target pellets at 7.48 gr. Also shot some Gamo Tomahawk witch I started with but did not think they were grouping good enough for sighting in with, they were 7.56 gr and Pointed hollow point, did give more penetration but did not group as good. So until I get some more practice in will stick to the Target Pellets, They are flat points The only thing I would like changed on that rifle is a lighter trigger. I did adjust it a bit to decrease the pull and seemed to help quite a bit.
Thanks for the video, use to shoot a lot of air rifles with my sun, but later switched to .22 Lr. and up. but now going back to air rifles as have a rat problem, Have the Gamo Varmint in the mail on its way, did notice that you were holding the front of the rifle quite tight, you should try the military hold, works much better with a springer. That is just letting the front of the rifle rest on you hand, it will tighten up your groups, Me and my sun were bough shooting dime size groups, With open sights, But now at 74 will be using a scope, eyes just are not as good as they use to be, so need scope or with good light a peep sight. I have seen some videos where they were getting very good groups with that rifle, so hopping I can as trying to hit a rat in the head, is not a large target. From what I have seen the heaver pellets around 900 Fps are doing much tighter groups than the ones doing 1100 fps, have not seen any videos where they are getting the 1250 fps. Also I have ordered a few different types of pellets to see what shoot the best. Going with 7.48 gr , 7.9 gr and 8.2 gr to start of with, and later want to try some 11.75 gr. When shooting with my sun years ago found that round nose or flat nose gave the tightest groups. But pointed nose gave the most penetration. Again thanks for the very good video.
Good job - Thank You
Mine will not even measure FPS any ideas?
See yourself in this video 📸 Go Go GAMO Bro ruclips.net/video/vD8LVWFdZPc/видео.html
SAT smooth action trigger system is a big plus and the auto safety after you break the action for shooting 🌠🌠🌠, It's definitely a hunting Rifle for small game and pest destroyer. Go Go GAMO ⚔️🐻⚔️
Upgrade that Scope , that's what I plan to do . I don't dry fire mine , I would use the cloth pellets made for cleaning instead and it's always good to have a few ,💥💥💥💥💥💥🔫💥
I got that one and the Big Cat as well as the Bone Collector I really like GAMO air rifles and Benjamin by Crosman also. ⚔️🐻⚔️
For me I like the rifle but I probably shot 30 to 40 pellets and my rifle don't seem to have the same power it had when I first got it what can I do to get the power back
I shot a gopher a good 60 yards away with the same air rifle. All u need is a different scope. I've got a Barska 3-9 by 32 scope on it, works bry good with the rifle. The scope that comes with it is absolutely worthless. But the gun is awesome
I just got my gamo whisper gen1 .22. Love it. Did a bunch of mod and up grades. Want to know the most proper way to clean it.
How much adjustment was needed on the scope ?
Shoot birds
Lock your guns up if for nothing more than to prevent being sued, what happened if a couple kids took them and shot someone, do you think you wouldn't be held accountable?
Not very accurate with the pellets your using, I am not big on the plastic breech block and shroud, from my experience the barrel with that plastic shroud are very light barrels
Where can I find the oring for the pump. I have the same as yours.
Excellent
Hi, and thanks for.the video.... I have had one since I was a kid. Just pulled it out of the drawer after @30 years and pulled it apart. Its all metal except for a few interior parts. Made in Los Angeles... How do I determine when its made?... Also all black. Thanks...
Good review. I like that you showed close ups of it. Mine is on it's way. Thumb up.
Would it be suitable for small game ,like Squirrel?
Yes
Is this good for coyotes?
Awesome video and facts that you know, wish you all the best
