    My wife just got her first new car. I have never been much for aesthetic maintenance but wanted to learn. I maybe wash my truck once a year and the inside has never seen a vacuum. Just to illustrate my novice. Point is, I have already invested hours in detailing vids and yours are hands down THE most informative. From a real world perspective with real life advice. Most of the other channels I have watched are inevitably going to be trying to sell me something. Thank you for "keeping it real". Can't wait to try this out for a mid week maintenance wash.

    Subbed! Our process is extremely similar. It’s pretty crazy how fast you can get through an interior with rinseless. For those sticky cup holders that are non-removable, try spraying some rinseless wash in it and let it sit for a few minutes. The rinseless dampened towel will wipe it up easily. I’m like you, always least aggressive measures first. Looking forward to more tips/tricks from you to add to my arsenal!

    That's right, those beauty brushes are not good for that👍🏼 I have been cleaning exteriors and interiors with Rinseless and makes all great, efficient, effective, and cost-effective. I have seen some detailers using APC just because and they end up pulling or erasing the white lettering on the inside of the vehicle

    • @ocdetailingnc
      @ocdetailingnc 20 дней назад

      Rinseless Wash is the sauce when it comes to efficiency and being safe. Lots of RUclips channels would make you think an APC is necessary on every vehicle to get it clean when it's not the case. And to make it worse most of them use that brush that belongs in the vanity drawer. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 😁

    I use a rubber wiper like from the gas stations on the outside glass which works beautifully, then I use 2 microfiber towels for the inside windows, one wet one dry. Spray a 50/50 mix of water and rubbing alcohol on the wet rag and wipe the inside windows, then follow behind with the dry rag. No streaks in day or night conditions.

    • @ocdetailingnc
      @ocdetailingnc Месяц назад

      This is a great method as well. For the video I used a dedicated glass cleaner, but the majority of the time I use Rinseless wash as my glass cleaner. I'll make a video about that very soon. The wet towel & dry towel is one of my favorite methods when cleaning glass outside.

  • @Duusin

    Hey bud, i wonder what exactly u mean by that apc to just whipe it off? Doesnt you need to neutralize it with water? Thanks for your videos man

    • @ocdetailingnc
      @ocdetailingnc Месяц назад

      Great question! I'll assume that you understand the pH scale in terms of acid, alkaline, and neutral (if not I'm happy to explain). To neutralize an acid you need to post treat with an alkaline. Likewise, to neutralize an alkaline you need to post treat with an acid. This is a big discussion when it comes to stain treatments in car interiors, homes, and commercial use. Rinsing off either acid or alkaline cleaner with water doesn't neutralize the surface it was applied to. Instead, it dilutes it. In my method of using a soap-based alkaline cleaner I'm not creating damage or an adverse situation. This technique I learned from Billy with American Dealer Garage F-Bomb. You can still rinse the cleaner off if you want, but it's not necessarily needed with this type of product.

    • @ocdetailingnc
      @ocdetailingnc Месяц назад

      We have a washing machine in our shop to wash towels. This specific type of towel I'd wash separately from the rest. If they're really dirty, I'd throw them away or demote them to oil changes or some dirty job before trashing them

  • @hellagrant

    For those who are diy, with a vehicle that has perfect paint, would you say leave a car dirty or waterless wash? Maybe you cannot wash for 2 weeks for example and car is mildly dirty.

    • @ocdetailingnc
