Try applying a thick layer of UV resin and avoid rubbing that area with your brush (whichever brush you are using to spread the resin) too many times. Using a light hand and applying the least amount of pressure while spreading the resin makes a big difference. Another few things I do to avoid smudges: - Waiting for the designs to dry properly. - Applying two resin coats. The first one to secure the designs. And another final one to thicken the glossy look. I’ll try and make a video about it, showing how I do it. :)

They’re pretty insightful. But to be honest, you’ll learn the most by just exploring the options on your own. Like experimenting and stuff. That’s how I got the most idea. All the best! ☺️

As I have mentioned in the video, you can use a mixture of food colour and acrylic colour for more vibrant shades of your desire. :)

Air dry clay does dry fast when kept in the open. Try keeping the clay in an airtight container or wrap it in plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out too quickly.

That basically happens because cold porcelain clay shrinks when it’s drying. So when you’re working on the other parts, the part that is left open in the air starts drying and shrinks. Cracks appear when the clay dries due to many reasons like following: - The clay was overcooked - The clay was not kneaded enough after cooking - The clay was not stored properly - The clay piece was not conditioned properly (Since you are saying that you had conditioned the clay properly, then the reason might be any of the other 3.)
