The car is still in motion and going forward. Cyclist shouldn't be undertaking and needs to stay back. One day that move will get you crushed and then you can moan all you like to the undertaker.

Author of this video need to go and study highway rules again 🫵 What this cyclist doing is called “Tailgating”. I’m cycling to work and number of cyclists giving a bad name to the rest of us, is unimaginable. I’m aware that there is plenty drivers and delivery riders who are also ignorant to the rules but cycling community is wearing the 👑 in this case. It will be wrong not to admit that around 60-70% of cyclists have no idea what road signs mean. My personal opinion, based on over the years of observation and experience. Have a good day everyone.

It’s generally called defensive driving, or riding. Treat all drivers as idiots, or haven’t seen you, until proven otherwise.

By moving to left more space is created for the turn. This means slower wheel turn for a given speed and hence much greater control. This has benefits like less likely to cut corner, or being fully aligned to road just turned into. Watch trucks on roundabouts or even turning and see them do it. Just because a lot of drivers never get beyond their "pass test" level does not mean that normal driving is optimal. It takes many yers to get really good at driving.
