    Can the suction hose been to long on the kranzle 2160 ts cause it to lose pressure??

    • @jcvdvandd
      @jcvdvandd 4 месяца назад

      That’s a very good question. Unfortunately, it’s not something I have a comprehensive answer to. I know Kranzle sell a suction hose which is 3 metres in length: kranzle-pressure-washers.co.uk/collections/all-accessories/products/kranzle-3m-suction-filter-hose Your best bet would be to call them up to see what their opinion is. The fact that I cannot see a suction hose from Kranzle larger than 3 metres suggests it’s not something they’d recommend.

    Excellent review and very informative 👍. Currently I use a Karcher K4 which is on its last legs. In terms of quality and performance I assume there’s no comparison between the Kranzle and Karcher ? Thanks

    • @jcvdvandd
      @jcvdvandd 10 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your comment. In terms of quality, the Kranzle is more robust in my opinion. Please note, it’s probably an unfair comparison between a K4 and a 2160 TST. One is a domestic pressure washer (K4) and one could be considered more of a commercial pressure washer (2160 TST). However, if it’s the last pressure you’ll buy, then look no further than a Kranzle. Yes, it’s more expensive, but as long as you service it when required, it should last you a lifetime. Hope this helps.

    • @jcvdvandd
      @jcvdvandd Год назад

      Hi. Thanks for watching. In response to your question, it is to do with the clear coat on the alloys. The clear coat marring will show up more on black alloys. It's for this reason I use the softer detail brush to reduce the chances of this from occurring. I have actually updated my wheel cleaning process and feel this is much better as the chemical used pretty much removes the built up brake dust on the wheel face and barrels. This leaves you with a cleaner surface to work with. If you're interested, I've left a link in this comment: ruclips.net/video/J2P977Jp4jk/видео.html The only thing I would do differently for black alloys (in the link I've shared above), is use a softer detail brush and wheel woolies. Apart from that, everything else would remain the same. I hope this helps.

    • @jcvdvandd
      @jcvdvandd Год назад

      It's absolutely fine. No issues with water being in that area. Please note, the brake discs can form rust with water being left on there. There are 2 solutions to resolve this. 1) Spray some Bilt Hamber Atom Mac to prevent rust/corrosion. 2) Drive the vehicle round the block once finished cleaning and press the brakes to dry the brake discs out.

The 2160TST in my opinion is a premium all round machine. It’s more powerful than the K7. Having said that, the K7 is excellent for valeters/ detailers. In terms of comparison, I mainly use both the 2160TST and K7 for Valeting and Detailing. Both are excellent for this purpose. However, I feel the 2160TST has more horsepower to clean a driveway/ patio. I hope that’s answered your questions. Feel free to message me if you have further questions. Thanks.

      You will also need to order the following: mosmatic.co.uk/hp-t304-quick-connect-couplings/3713-mosmatic-hp-couplings-quick-connect-T304-38f-70012.html & this: mosmatic.co.uk/fittings/1746-ver-500-bar-stainless-steel-51280-g3-8-m-x-m22x15-m.html This will then allow you to connect the gun to your Kranzle hose. It is expensive; but it is completely down to you whether you want this package. I appreciate it is not for everyone due to cost.

      @@jcvdvandd thanks for your reply. I’ve seen the Mosmatic UK package, however the gun itself is different to the specific one made and distributed exclusively for Obsessed Garage. Their gun has a few tweaks over the regular one. I’m thinking I may as well order it from them and pay the extra costs. I’ve been trying to source the Coxreel too and have a lead on that for around £200. Next on the list is the Kobrajet hose, though I want the grey one so need to find a supplier for that.

    Hi, I would appreciate your advice on a few questions I have. What are the benefits of the Kranzle pressure washer over the K7? I'm currently deciding whether to purchase a K7 for both car detailing and patio cleaning. If you could keep only one, which would you prefer the PA or MTM lance? Was the Obsseed Garage pressure gun worth the extra money over something like MTM SGS35, I very much like an easy pull trigger?

    • @jcvdvandd
      @jcvdvandd 3 года назад

      Thanks for your questions. In my view the Kranzle is more geared towards commercial use and the pump is most likely more durable than the Karcher K7. However, if you intend to make use for domestic purposes and not use it for prolonged periods of time then the Karcher K7 is more than capable. I only bought the Kranzle 2160TST to make use for my detailing business, plus to use it to clean the driveway/ patio on occassions. With regards to your question on snow foam lances, that's a tricky one. I like both of them! However, with that being said; I'd keep the PA lance. With respect to your final question. I wouldn't be able to give a fair view on a comparison between the OG spec gun and the MTM SGS35 as I have never used the MTM gun. I liked the look of the OG spec gun and that's why I bought it. I am sure though the MTM gun is also a very capable solution. It might be worth watching a review by Obessesed Garage. He has a video on the MTM SGS28 and the older OG spec gun: ruclips.net/video/efyr_MWLNPA/видео.html I don't know how useful it would be, but you may be able to identify any differences. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

      @@jcvdvandd thanks so much for the detailed response, much appreciated! That’s great to hear, I only plan to use it once a weak so I think I’ll go with the K7 then. I’ve just watched the Obsessed Garage videos and the fittings seem like the main reason to purchase the gun. Whilst they seem very luxurious they also have a ludicrous price tag, but I might just splurge as I don’t plan to upgrade any time soon. Do you know if the PA Lance is compatible with the MTM 22.2 bottle?

      @@calvin3941 you're most welcome. The PA Lance should be compatible. I have put my PA snow foam lance on the MTM PF22 bottle and it screwed on fine. The PF22.2 bottle will have the same thread, so it should also work. Hope that helps.

    Hi. I was kinda hesitating between K2160 and Profi 195, which seem to be the best options you can get for domestic 230V. I don't really know what I should favor, pressure or flow. There is also the X A17 in between, but you lose 60° water (but I probably don't really need it) and 1400 rpm engine.

    • @jcvdvandd
      @jcvdvandd 3 года назад

      Hi. Thanks for your comment. That's a really good question. I guess it depends on what you intend to use the machine for. I don't know much about the Profi 195. However, based on what I can see; it appears to offer more in the adjustable pressure rating range, from 10 - 170 bar. The 2160 TST operating adjustable pressure rating is between 30 - 140 bar, which is more than sufficient for my use i.e. cleaning cars and the patio.
