9 Types Of Interviews To Be Prepared For To Outshine Your Competition!
I just got fired this helped me feel better thank you
Well i got put on suspension from work because I felt disrespected. Tomorrow I will find out if I get fired. If I do it will be tragic but life goes on
I just started this wonderful job, everything was great, but the new supervisor brought the rumors that was going to bring her own people from the other company that was laid off, so, was exactly what happened, this new manager brought the first one employee and made us a nightmare every day, till the 6 people working at there 4 was laid off and just was left one and the employee the supervisor brought, all of us was laid off for bad performance even the ones that have years working there and me who just started. What is the difference between fire and laid off, we finished with not work.
If you ask them “what has been most of the challenges your business has faced?“ And the answer they give you is somewhere along the lines of “establishing processes, and to work more cohesively with the team“ or any other variation of that, run for the hills. I don’t care how much they’re paying you don’t get that job. That basically means it’s a huge crap show and plagued with disorganization and turnover. Now this might not always be the case, but I would probably say in confidence, 8.5 out of 10, it’s usually a bad company. Also be wary of the settings. This is not always the case, but in my opinion, if you’re sitting down with the CEO, who is the husband and the strategic partner who is the wife, then you learned that his best friend is part of the sales department and brother, one of the sales managers, Definitely find something else. Yes, they may be a very good company for all you know, but more likely than not, you will end up, leaving in the long run. These type of combinations don’t mix with small businesses very rarely. Think about it the divorce rate here in America is over 75%, which the data is stacked up against the business. What makes you sure that they get along 24 seven and have no issues in or out of the office or they do have issues and bring it to the office? There are a lot of personal dramas when you bring personal people in that type of setting and you are just the middle person. You will also feel left out more or less, even though they’re not purposely trying to leave you out. You will just feel it. Another huge red flag is your intuition or your “gut feeling“. You have to trust your gut because 9.5 out of 10 times it’s correct. Don’t try to write it off as “I’m always paranoid“ because you’re feeling that way for a reason. Something is off. You just don’t know what it is! There’s also numerous red flags that really cannot be explained. They’re more subtle than anything. You really can’t even put words to it. You just know and feel it in your gut. Especially if you just started, and your boss is giving you contradicting information, and explaining things that don’t really make sense and want you to kind of drive basically throwing you out to the wolves, it’s best to leave sooner than later. There are a lot of managers out there that haven’t even taken a course in management Nor business owners that even read anything there is to know about management. Usually stay away from companies that have been in business for less than 25 years. I’m not saying again all companies that are new are bad, however, if you’ve had a past of bad employers, and trying to mitigate as much as possible to avoid that again, I would stay away from new fresh businesses, even if they’re doing well. Again, they could be the best business to work forever! But statistics show that businesses rarely last 10 years unless they have a very solid core competency. You want a business that has been through a few decades of maturity because the test of time would’ve eliminated them if they were a bad company. Five, 10, even 15 years doesn’t really give you a great track record of being a healthy company. After about 25 years, it’s safe to say that the company has been through different cycles and obstacles that it overcame Both personally and financially and has stood the test of time. There are many new companies out there that have been in business for 5 to 10 years where the owner drives a Land Rover, has a $1.5 million home in a nice area, and business makes roughly $10 million a year. This is pretty good, but these type of businesses usually have an owner that spends more than what they should be, and that leads to a chain reaction of events. It becomes a robbing Peter to pay Paul type of scenario that you don’t wanna be a part of. Most businesses do this, however to fill in these gaps they have other core competencies that fund those areas. If you notice what you are doing at that company and say to yourself “so what anyone could do this” then it’s time to start looking elsewhere. This can be hard to do, especially in the tech industry where if you’re not so much adept to the technology being utilized. But after a short time you’ll be able to know the difference and say to yourself “what can this company do that others cannot or what others do very poorly?” If you can’t answer that specifically without thinking then it’s time to look elsewhere.
Ive been employed for 16 years, started a new job and just got fired. This was a first with me in my life. 😢😢
I was fired once and find it difficult to talk about when looking for other jobs. Sometimes you can be fired just because someone looks at you and doesn’t like you- which was my case. There are two sides to every story, and the whole ordeal can be difficult, but staying positive really does make a big difference
I pulled a prank with a coworker on another coworker. It was harmless, but I got fired because the person I did it with was super close with my manager. The coworker that I pranked forgave me and everything, but they didn’t get me a chance to explain.
Do you have an email or I can email you?
You are amazing. Thank you for your help ❤
These are hood for office workers but as forklift driver warehouse worker labourer i think your just a shit kicker
Thanks for giving 9 scenarios. What if it is because you were fired because your boss misguided you and then blamed you? In short, you become the scapegoat of company’s politics?
I got fired today, it was my own damn fault.
Thank you for this video! It helps me build up my hope
How would you explain when you have no idea why you were fired? Never givin a reason. Then they black ball you.
What if I filed for unemployment? Do I still have to put it on that next job application or can I leave it off? I was only there for 90 days and they terminated me for things I didn't know coming into the job and things that should have fallen under that learning period of time. Ultimately, the manager didn't want me to begin with so I wasn't surprised. I'd rather not put it on my future applications if I don't need to but my concern is that they will somehow find out through some type of background check. Is that possible or will I probably be ok since I got terminated right after my 90 days were up? (Literally, 3 days after my insurance took effect so now I have to pay a full months insurance out of my last paycheck... which I felt was very unethical as I can guarantee you, they knew before Thanksgiving that they were planning to do this. Could have done it then and saved us all the grief and money too.)

Thank you thank you!
I got fired from job today because I had college class and they didnt want me on campus even when I wasnt clocked in
You job search “coaches” are all alike in one factor: You assume people are capable of trusting others in sight. For people like me who have been traumatized, this isn’t the case. I refused to network and once even intentionally blew up an informational interview an extended family member tried to arrange because I was not specifically given the impression that I would be welcomed with open arms and not shot dead on sight instead. For people like me body armor is an absolute must to go to any networking event and you never cover this. I now work retail because it’s literally all I can handle.
Can u help me with a job please?😮😮😮😮
Thank you, it was and excellent and helpful video :)
Here is my advice. When they call you office and tell you are fired and tell you sign the papers, never sign anything walk away go home call unemployment dump the garbage to your employer, don’t be afraid if unemployment call your work place they are not going to say you are good person. Take an unemployment than look for a job. When you are looking for a job in your resume or interview don’t never mention you don’t have a job, I tell you why? One if new work place they know you don’t have a job, you’re never going to get paid what you should be, 2) don’t be afraid they never call your previous work place and ask about you. Trust me I done it I know what I’m talking about
Thanks so much 🙏🏾 I needed this was terminated yesterday from my hotel. And I actually feel relieved because my job was really getting the best of me. I stayed stressed and drained and now that I was terminated I FEEL FREE. I'm going to file for unemployment
Why should i have to lie pretending i left on good terms when i had a toxic jealous boss
Thank you so much for these examples!
All these in Brussels, Belgium. The most toxic bubble there is. Bad incompetent managers, competitive atmosphere, recruitment based on nationalities instead of skills, horrible work culture for expats.
Thank you for this wonderful video really helps me to move on. Newly dismissed I felt I fall into depression until I watch this video help me to align my goals back on track again.
I got one for you I was terminated after 16 years of service for allegedly “stealing company, safety equipment” (a fire extinguisher)these allegations were untrue ,unethical, unprofessional and unwelcome. Washington state unemployment conducted their own investigation on this matter and found me to be “not at fault of theft of ANY kind”! There was no “gross misconduct” that the accusers claimed I was guilty of. There was no evidence of any crime, nor were there ANY criminal charges filed against me by the company. The most damaging thing was that I had to explain to prospective employers, why I was terminated. I have no criminal history, no accusations of wrongdoing that broke any laws EVER (16 years) with this company. at the end of the day I have one question for you….” have you ever pissed off a narcissist?” If the answer is “yes”, then you very well know that once you make an enemy with a narcissist, you, you have an enemy for life. That would be the case here. the most disturbing thing for me was that none of my colleagues stood up and vouched for me.😢 if they did, their voice went unheard. I ended up…Reevaluating my situation. and came to the conclusion that I would no longer be able to work in that industry due to the irreparable character assassination that was dashed out and unprovoked. I started studying data centers and soon engaged in interviews with Google , AWS,and MSFT. I got generous offers from all three companies, all of which involved relocating. I ended up going with Microsoft due to the like-minded interviewers that I had the opportunity to work with. I start work on the ninth of next month and will be financially made whole. I can’t wait. The irony to the story is that my accuser who had been with the company for 36 years and at one point made a comment to me that “ in 36 years of working here, I regret hiring you the most”. He Got a visit from corporate approximately two months after he fired me. Since I filed charges with the EEOC and NLRB that created quite a bit of heat for him. He was given two options…. 1. Resign. 2. Or…Termination. This was my story and the end of my career as working as a technician on the waterfront. A Dangerous job with crappy hours that pays really well. Sometimes blessings come in disguise.
I got let go today and feel very relieved and not stress at all. It's nice not having to deal with a overbearing manager who micro manages. I got let go because of my "performance" even though I'm a top performer in the company. The job I had sucked and was time consuming having to deal with bad leads that my manager gave me. There is always another job. Your mental and physical health is more important. You being fired is a positive.
Can I ask do you have an emergency savings fund?
Canada is so stupid it looks like employees doest have anyone to protect employees rights
There used to be a time when you had a personnel department to turn to for help. But sometime in the 80's it became all about Human Resources where the personnel department worked solely for the interest of the company and not for the employees. I know, I am old enough to know about this as a senior and I worked in the personnel department. It was all about protecting the company from costs...... money, money, money. Today the HR Dept really does not care about employees because everyone is an expendable part of the company culture. So sad.
I got fired due to lack of proper training. I am a single mother caring for an adult child who is terminally ill. I loved my job and now I don't know what I am going to do. I am very angry about this. As a career, I can't find it in me to take the high road on this one. I have been begging for training that other investigators would have gotten, yet my supervisor did not approve me for such. I don't know what I am going to do. Devastating!!! That's to say the least.
After 40 years of full time work. I have been fired twice from the same industry in the past 2 years. I actually wanted to quit the second job, befoee I was terminated, but wanted to get a new job before giving notice. Then, I made a critical mistake and was given the choice of being fired or resigning. I chose to resign to avoid being walked out in front of every one. I am not ready to retire, but I dont know what else to do for a living. Age discrimination is also alive and well in the employment hunt and Im running into that loke a brick wall.
I was fired a week ago, during my probation period…saying I’m under performing without giving any training. I was so depressed in searching for a new job and felt guilty and devastated and full of regrets for leaving my previous job where they treated me better. I feel bit fine after watching your videos. Love from India😍
That’s crazy u regret leaving ur previous job I hope u found something better than both at least there are no deadlines
@@annabelconstantine1241 thanks for the reply…I’ve joined my new job ❤️✨
I feel the same way. I left my previous job which I'm good at to pursue in another job. Yesterday I got called into the office and was informed that I'm not performing up to snuff and the supervisor, per policy, has to recommend termination. I called my former employer to see if they have any vacancies and she said no. And honestly I don't think she wants me back anyway. So right now I'm very scared and becoming unemployed.
@ all the best and wishing you find another job really soon🫂 it’s been three months since I joined my new job, tbh really this feels better with very peaceful environment. I wish you find your place soon.

This video is so incredibly helpful ❤❤❤ THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
See I was just let go today after less than 30 days. From the interview for 1 company (they are together next to each other) I knew I didnt get that job after no contact for two weeks to randomly on a Friday if I could work for the other company. I made a mistake and no coaching or warning they just let me go. This was finally after 3 weeks of training (which should have been 2) but they werent going to give me logins or the key to the office. I knew then they didnt want me and from day one people were rude to me. I felt sad and embarrassed but now I am relieved. Also 2 hours after my firing, they posted my position but 2 dollars less an hour.
Just got fired. But it was a contract job and I had low expectations. Just confusing because they were praising me and saying they liked me, but the agency randomly calls and goes “ya, they don’t wanna keep you”. Never a good feeling either way
The single biggest thing to do when you leave a job without one to go to is to economise, because you don't know how long you need to "glide" for. Cancel things like streaming services, cook at home instead of eating out, if you've recently made larger discretionary purchases then maybe return them if you can get the money back. If you have a high cost car, maybe see if you can change it for a cheaper one (cars are a large expense that can be cut much easier than rent or mortgage payments). Literally, go through your bank statement(s) for a few months and totalise the amounts spent on various "things" and redline everything you can live without. You have less money but more time available, so maybe get the home and garden in order. Whilst you still have money, get yourself a set of "interview clothes" and keep them just for that. Doesn't have to be fancy. Just a cheap suit will do. Try for the best, allow for the worst.
😂 orrrrrrr just lie to these jobs. Tell them you've never been fired and why do you even have to explain being laid off? People please play in these jobs faces like they play in ours. You don't need an excuse or round about way to say anything just lie from jump and have a friend pretend to be the manager and give the job your friends number under the Job history contact information.
How do you save a state pension while being terminated?
great video!
I found your video most helpful! I was fired after a new manager was hired after my former manager retired; I did not meet the new manager's processing expectations so I was fired after a 45-day Accountability Plan took place. The kicker was also that she fabricated tasks that she said I did not complete or completed incorrectly. Some were even tasked to others not me. Technically I was wrongfully terminated!
I got fired from a good paying job yesterday. I am 42 and never been fired before. It was because of an error I made. I was upset and cried alot. But the site director hugged me and said she'd give me a good review. I'm still processing it.
I’m sorry to hear that; hold your head up high as what she says is true - I do definitely feel that there is life after being fired. I have literally just had my employment terminated - and it’s difficult to say that - it was due to having a mild chronic condition that affected my performance a couple of times. So many of my Work Colleagues were surprised that it resulted in termination and have been sooo supportive. So take that time to grieve as she says and really focus on all the qualities you have to offer - because people who have experienced tough times and grow in character have a huge amount to offer both professionally and personally. 😊🌈 Very best wishes to you. 😊🌈
@@PaulaElizabethJ I'm sorry that happened to you. Everything is fine now. You will be fine too.
Same here, i got fired bcoz of an error, I feel unworthy. Carrying alot of emotions in head but I'm not crying. Bcoz I'm confident. Don't lose hope, you have came so far, error don't define you, actually you should feel fortunate that you are out from the company who never pushed you to improve.
I might be getting terminated tomorrow. Thank you for this video!!! I love you ❤️❤️
I appreciate your video. I been up all night after being fired yesterday. It's 4am now and I think Im going to relax and rest today. I will start a new job search on Thursday. Im going to hide in my cave today and probably get out and have fun this evening. 😀
Is there life after being fired from 3 different jobs?
If I were you I would have a very serious conversation with yourself in the mirror and self reflect. Odds are the problem is not your bosses but yourself. Learn from your mistakes and figure out why and never ever let it happen again. Self reflection is the biggest part of maturity and self development.
While working as a security supervisor at a hotel( no manager position available), I was informed on May 21st that the whole department is to be laid off on May 31st(today is May 28th) due to outsourcing; going with a 3rd party security company. it’s hard to complete the regular work that consist of security task because I felt that if the employer valued me as an employee, they would’ve ensured that I was hired on with the new company.
I just lost my job today and I need to go back now to home country I don’t know what will I say or show my face she had high expectations from me i need help feeling suicidal
Tip: Don't work for big companies that treat good workers and jerk offs the same. If you can't talk to your boss's boss, he or she is taking the credit for anything you accomplish.
What do I say if I slept with my boss's wife?
