really for those thinking this is pure Jungle..this is the era of (UK) Hardcore becoming Jungle.. for purposes of historical accuracy this album is pretty much Hardcore, but you can hear Jungle in it as it was a new aspect of Hardcore back then.. Jungle? it's Hardcore I'm looking for I'm afraid :)

This guy was light years ahead of everyone else
well really there was a lot of really good hardcore mixes going on even prior to this (on vinyl and on pirate radio and at Raves) that had similar vibe to this album but yes he's a prime mover in the style too from way back but there were a lot of really good producers and when the DJs were mixing it live you'd get similar vibes but i mean no disrespect to this album as it's classic of the style and era and still sounds fresh for sure
