A Family and Their Land
США
Добавлен 24 сен 2020
This channel is about the 3rd generation of homesteading on 23 acres of land in PA. We talk about sawmills, tractors, firewood, and lots of builds using rough lumber. We have two DIY greenhouses, one heated and one not, and we are trying to grow food year around. Likewise, we have many passions that we will be pursuing, and we'll show you the ones that work and the ones that don't. We are not a video production company, and you won't see elaborate music and graphic intros to our videos; I don't have time for that. I hope you enjoy the channel.

Great job
Awesome, job!!!
who's here 104 years later?
It seems like a hoop house is better for shedding snow and better in the wind, but only if it's really well built. I don't have any experience with building them for the snow, but I built a few hoop houses in Costa Rica and I lived in one for 3 years. It was fine in 50 mph + winds.
I hope to live in a colder climate and get something like this done
1920
Everyone in the comments: "winter of 1920" Me: "Ain't got no gas in it"
Nice
Looks great. You should put up some glass roof panels that you can open up.
Great work. Well done
I know why you said 1920, because you're last life was in the 20s like me.
In the winter 2019 - 20?
As someone who doesn't know, would it ever be worth keeping your compost heap inside the greenhouse I mean it keeps it warm and it's right next to all the things you will need it for afterwards?
The cameras back in 1920 were much better where your are! ;)
I bet u can grow some good weed bud
At first I thought there's nothing special about this greenhouse Then I realized all greenhouses are epic! Keep on growing those veggies bro.
BEAUTIFUL! GOOD JOB
Busch !
Love it! How do you prepare the wood for use after you mill it? Or do you season it before milling it? I would have put wire fencing on the outside of your posts to keep critters from easily pushing it in.
Love that super nice green house !!!! 👍🏻😁
Wow looks awesome what zone are you in?
So, is the roof just plastic drop cloths? what is inside the gutters? and do you collect the water for re-use?
Great way to get comments. I have a friend who's aged 102, even she can't say that phrase. My late aunt who passed in '05 could talk like that.... 😅
It took 100 years to find enough straight lumber
That beer was well deserved.
1920 is the best part.
Looks great dude! 👍
The 1920 comments will push this to more people via higher engagement. Well done.
Well although I know you mean 2020, I think 1920 sounds better but that part should be accompanied by sad 😢 violin music.
Wonderful! Looks great, very practical and you did a beautiful job milling the lumber. I hope to have the opportunity to build something like that myself in 3-4 years.
104 years and still strong..
How long will the plastic last?
How many bears have you had sir? "in the winter of 1920", that's how many..
THAT sir is BEAUTIFUL!!!!😅 When you said 1920, that was the beer talking...Many of us are from the 1900's. 🤣😅😂🤣😅😂 Beautiful! Happy gardening...❤
Fantastic!!!
1920? Dang!
This is definitely an Epic/10
Huh? That looks brand new. No way is it 120 years old. Me think thou doest embibe too much. Cheers indeed!
Nice job. God bless
Thays awsome bud! Nice work.
Great job! Nothing lime having your own saw mill. Very nice!
What did you use on the gutter system? Just built mine and that is one of my last touches. Thank you!
About to say how old is this guy 120 years old 1920 to 2024 Jesus Christ let me hit that shit one time pass it around it's puff puff past
She looks beautiful!
I'd love to know how you made the gutter system. I've never seen that done before. What material is it lined with?
Awesome. Respect.
Nice spout
👍
That Eastern Redbud is really nice.
Very nice
