I read these in middle school

As someone who's obsessed with the original Wiggles in childhood, I replayed this movie a lot on VHS over and over again. Too bad it never got re-released as it could've been, but it was still a genuine watch - flawed yes, but even then, this movie still has a lot more good in it. Plus, this was a transitional move for the Wiggles updating their skivvies, costume characters, etc. My favorite songs in the film are Hey There Wally, Dance w/ Dorothy, Do the Twist, Nya Nya Nya and We Like to Party. As for the production side of things, the original scene of Wally at the Magic Club that was shown at the beginning moved later after the Wiggles backstage scene on the home media releases kinda reminded me of the original Workprint of Thomas & the Magic Railroad which differs between the scripts and final cut of how the intros played out differently. Wally and Ronald kinda remind me a little bit of Lightning McQueen and Chick Hicks/Jackson Storm vibe. Dunno why. While I have not caught up w/ the current group obviously, but I still look back fondly of this iconic children's band from time to time.

Sidetable is my favorite character in the show! I love this movie so much!

Between the Lions is one of those PBS Kids shows I fondly remember watching in childhood, though I don't always remember the specific episodes - and I always enjoy the Cliffhanger segments. Fun fact, Sean Kelly (writer for both Shining Time Station and Mr. Conductor's Thomas Tales) worked on the show and won an award for one of his episodes written on the show.

It just shows how Jules would sacrifice himself for his son a true good dad💗

I'd always imagine this fancast: •Ben Schwartz as Fone Bone (I first knew him from Sonic live action and I didn't realize even before Sonic, he was already popular. He's definitely the best candidate.) •Jason Sudeikis as Phoney Bone (I just rewatched Angry Birds Movie and he voiced Red. Red is short tempered, so is Phoney and Jason Sudeikis is perfect for that role.) •Jack McBrayer as Smiley Bone (He has several roles and one of his examples are Fix it Felix from Wreck it Ralph.) •Mae Whitman as Thorn (She's a well known actress and voice actress. She has voiced several cartoon characters and one of my fave roles of her is Katara from Avatar) •Jamie Lee Curtis as Gran'ma Rose (I only saw her in Halloween series as Laurie Strode, she's definitely my candidate for Rose) •Jeffrey Wright as The Dragon (I don't have much choice but he's a decent actor as well.) •Ron Perlman as Lucius (He's one of the most iconic actors.) •Clancy Brown as Kingdok (He could reuse his Gunmar voice, if you watch Trollhunters) •John DiMaggio and Kevin Michael Richardson as The Stupid Rat Creatures (They're also among the well known VAs, they'll definitely kill the role.) •Keith David as Roque Ja (He could definitely do Southern Accent in voicing the Mountain Lion) Now the questions would be who'd be the best cast for The Hooded One, Bartleby, Ted and others?

Whoa! Sonic's Dad is stone bold awesome! Talk about being bold with nerves if steel, LITERALLY!😃 And to be honest, I think he could take Scourge, enough to take the green copycat trash out😅! Seriously, he's cool! I guess its true what they say about how things run in the family. And being war heroes definitely runs in Sonic's family, that's for sure!

Jules is such an absolute Gigachad here. He knows full well that Scourge would beat him in a fight, but he doesn't care. All that Jules cares about is that he's doing the right thing, and he's going to do so until he physically can't.

how is he the father if hes not biologically the same not only that but the hedgehog was brown bro and got speed from obtaining something... is this alternative?

you know a story I wish they cover the Archie comics before they got canceled. I was kind of hoping that scourge to find out that sonic killed a version of his father and use that as the seminary saying that we are the same.

This is why the sonic franchise is still alive; devoted sonic fans.

Sonic can fight at the speed of sound and mess up Robotnik/Eggman. Jules can fight by being a good father.

I love this. Jules may not have had an inkling of a chance, but he was a soldier on the front lines battling overlanders. I guarantee he would have shown Scourge just a thing or two before Sonic rolled in, madder than a wet hornet.

I have never been a huge fan of Archie Sonic, not my cup of tea, but with the context of this story specifically, the way that last "Nobody" was delivered is just perfection, it was full of disappointment and powerlessness, like, Jules understands really well he's not Scourge's father but as if deep down, he could understand that to Scourge, Jules failed him, at least on his distorted perception and on his own universe as well, and he genuinely feels bad for him for letting that forge him into the pathetic bully he is

I think Jules vocalizing his own hypocracy hurt him more than it would have hurt Scourge. All Scourge wants is some genuine love and appreciation, like Sonic gets, but he never does, no matter how hard he tries. The key is that the king needs discpline, and the knowhow to serve his own people. Scourge always boasted kingship, without growing to understand what it means to earn it and that a king is still a member of a team, even if 'gets the title'. Hes strong, capable, and iconic, hes no less the hedgehog Sonic or Shadow is, but hes too focused on outdoing Sonic, he forgets to outdo HIMSELF. The hypocracy comes because the same kind of treatment follows the opposite kind of person, a 'Nobody' to Jules, is a 'Somebody' to Scourge. If Scourge would pull his head out of his ass and grow up, maybe he'd learn that all those people he thinks are 'somebodies' bullied him into believing that crap. Hes still cooler, and tougher than Shadow and Sonic combined, but that doesnt mean he has to do things opposite in every damn way. Hes the best, so he should act like it.
