On sneakers its good to start with the largest lace on top and work your way down. Makes the shoe look much cleaner and allows for the shoe to maintain its shape without stretching the leather.

Do I understand the ratio correctly? A 10oz bottle with 4oz cleaner? 40% cleaning solution? I should put more cleaner in this bottle than I’d use for an entire load of laundry? Wowza!

My Remington rx5 is 7 or 8 years old and still works beautifully. You have simply been unlucky. I have changed blades twice on mine.

A year and a half to 2 years life on boots? I wish, I rotate between several pairs to get that. If I only had one pair I'm lucky to get 6 months out of them. What do you do for work?

I just retired my thorogoods and got myself the Iron Age enforcer 6” boot and let me tell you the boots are so comfy right out the box my thorogoods after a year of wear and tear started hurting my heels bad I also had bad experiences with Irish settler by far Georgia boots timberland pro Carolina boots and danner boots have been my go to boots and these Iron Age boots look promising I hope they’re this comftrable for the remainder of time I have them

Tried your method. Though after the hat was dry, I noticed a dark red/brown spot line where the line of sweat stains (dark white) were. Does this mean it got discolored? 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂Or not cleaned properly? My hat's color is black.

To speed up drying, I use my carpet steam cleaner that came with some hand tool attachments. I use the small one to extract moisture out of the fabric when I'm done cleaning and it definitely makes a difference. Obviously, make sure the attachment is clean or new. I use my handtool for clothing and shoes exclusively and clean it after use so it's still in like-new condition. And yes, this same method is perfect for certain casual shoes.

I'll never buy remington again, bought an rx5 and it broke within a month, never charging, got a replacement, and again within a month it broke.

I followed this method today to remove big sweat stains on my black cap, and I have go say the resulta are perfect! I didn'y spray the detergent and water thing, i just put it in a bowl and put in a tootbrush when needed. Very much approved!

This is so true the back of my shoe with the air popped and there is a hole.

Can’t justify spending $85 on a hat. Seems like a quality product, though, so hopefully there will be a price drop
