@@KieranClarkSkatesI would love to go back to the UK. Only been there once in 2010. I was living in Budapest Hungary with my ex I met her here in the states. We eventually wanted to move to the UK permanently as like a halfway point between our two lives but I had to move back to the US for a while and our relationship fell apart. Kind of crazy almost wound up living there was a great place would love to go back. If either of you guys come over here let me know. Me and oldbrokenskater live about an hour and a half north of nyc if u guys ever wanted to catch a sesh while on vacation.

It was fine tbh, looks worse than it was. Yeah my board does have a tendency to come in for seconds after I go down 😂

@cretinman that’s rough chicken pox on tiny ones is pretty scary. Glad they’re ok now. I get it mate it’s really hard to get time to skate with a newborn. Hopefully you’ll get a chance soon. Im all good thanks mate, just ticking along really, trying to skate when I can.

Cheers mate, I’ve got two boys as well. Eldest was at school so just the baby with me for this video. It felt good to get out after so long, pleased I was able to skate to a reasonable level.

She’s incredibly supportive of my skating, she really recognises the how it positively affects my mental health. Having Ollie enjoy it too is amazing, hopefully he continues to take an interest, although I won’t force him. I’m a very lucky man.

I’ve found with flat ground the falls always look bad because they happen when something goes weird. This one I catch the board kind of primo and then get my feet tangled because of it. I honestly only really have this happen to me with tricks I’m comfy with because I’m full commit every time.

That’s so rough mate. I often think of you when the weathers bad down here, I’ve not got anything to complain about in comparison. Hopefully spring comes early and you’ll be out soon bud. I’m still planning on trying to get up your way this summer if I can.

@KieranClarkSkates yeah it's annoying but it'll come round soon enough! Yeah man for sure, I'll need to give you the tour of all the local spots. There aren't many where I live so that part won't take long 😂 but there's loads in Inverness some I've never even been to myself!

Ollie had a whale of a time. Future skater that one for sure. Not convinced the wife enjoyed standing about in the cold as much though.

I think it was so cold I was more numb to the slams. Can’t hurt what you can’t feel right 😂 I’m the same I start twitching after a couple of days without skating so that layoff was killing me.

@@KieranClarkSkates I find the slams hurt more the day after when you try and get out of bed!

That’s all I hoped for this week, just wanted to get a feel for my board before Monday. Ollie had such a great time he loves it. You’re right it’s the best clip in the video as far as I’m concerned.

It really has. Couple of good days so far this week so hopefully we’ve turned the corner with it 🤞

I don’t think it’s associated with Hop, it’s just a local park. I certainly didn’t pay to skate it, just rolled up.
