    I thouhgt all madi verbs of form I have fatha in the first and third root of third person masculine singular. Then, is it shoriba or shariba? Are there dialect exceptions to this rule? Thanks a lot for your attention

      @@Arabic4NoNs I was mistaken. I thought "shoriba" was active maddy tense, when in fact with the translation "I was drunk" it is clear that it is not. Now I understand. Thanks for your attention an for the lesson.

    Modern Standard Arabic itself is the modernized version of the classical of Quranic Arabic which was spoken around the 7th century. Classical Arabic evolved from Old Arabic spoken around 3000 years ago.

      No. Despite both ت and ط have the same exist (the front of the tongue) when it hits the upper front teeth. The shape of the tongue with ت is steep from the back while it is up from the back in case of ط

      Yes. Actually, pronouns and adjectives are considered (Nouns) in Arabic. So, if we are to be accurate, these shall be called (Demonstrative Nouns). In Arabic, we call them أسماء الإشارة which literally means (Pointing Nouns).
