By far the best video guide online for this tricky procedure. A+ mate, thank you!
How long does it take for the heatgun to remove the port? I been cooking this thing for ten minutes and it never budges even with 500F+
Bro, where is eMMC storage located on Nintendo switch oled
0:55 Question about the clips, why doesn't the replacement clip in?
what i hate about these videos is they never show u the SIZES of scres that are removed
Thanks a lot!) maybe it is possible to know resistance values on lcd connector resistors please?)
One thing to notice !! The side frame where the usb c , you should not try to remove the back cover with that , the back cover is starting where the speakers grils are ,put your finger above speakers and pull
Dam is so hard to take put the back cover , i cant open it up !!
Why the fuck they placed different screws there 🤦♂️
God i love the detail you went in to this im have the confedice to try this. its if it works i get a repaird switch for $9 and a bit of time v.s. telling my sister its a $200 motherboard
Thank you so much for going into depth, the other videos are so vague on this replacement, as a beginner.
This is an amazing video, i came here to mainly see how to disassemble the oled switch, but came away with a better technique to my solders. thanks for EVERYTHING!
Handy. Thank you.
This video deserves more love. No unnecessary talk, just what is stated on the title. ❤ You rock, sir. Deeply appreciated.
I've been wondering what that circle on the top of the console is. Maybe it pops out if the battery swells?
Outstanding 😊💯💯
Took my oled switch apart and the charging port looks fine. Might have to send it to you for the power delivery chip repair. It won't charge or turn on.
My fan stopped making any noise after being really loud for a while and way too scared to do all this
Crap I don't have a sauder gun
I said the same thing 🤣
Fr... and the thing cost almost as much as a new oled :/
Pinecil is 40$ @@kellyjayne6410
I was able to reset my switch by reconnecting the battery. Thanks
Very nice guide!
my station isnt melting the soldering 😭 even at 100% 450oC
Buy some low melt solder (like £5 for 2metres) to mix in with the solder that’s already on the chip to lower desolder temperature :)
@@Newlvlunlocked thanks
Is the gray part like housing to protect the display from components?
Heat shield
Best video I seen on this, the lifting the back pins sounds like a great hack I've been doing it without and it's always a pain cuz you're never 100% sure they're solder or not
what happens if you bend the heat pipe? Like a little bit
Nice video! Very descriptive with good info for us beginners. How about a reassembly video? Would like to see how you reconnect the card reader board and ribbon connectors before I try it!
I broke the sd card spring system by pulling the sd card (the reader still works) do I need to change it or can it be fixed? my stupid ocd just doesnt let it go
Was that a heat gun you used to weld that because I didn't see you use any solder iron on it at all really except for the two little spots that you weld it but the actual pens on the port I didn't really see you solder them unless it was done by heat gun Please give me some input I would really like to know appreciate it thanks
He used a heat gun aka hot air rework station
How do you desolder with air and other elements dont fall off? It happened to me
tin foil is a classic, but you'll need a way to connect it to the board. the best way is with kapton tape; you can find generic stuff that's fairly reasonably priced.
Excellent ! Thanks guys !
Do you have the part number for the replacement USB-C port?
Great video, where is the link for the solder sucker? I can only find one for the fume extractor.
Do you have a video on the battery replacement? That part is giving me the most grief...
Do you offer your repair services?
Quick question: I always swap the housing shells on my OLEDs, I've done 3 now with no issue. On this last one, I have an issue of the Switch not recognizing the right joycon when it's connected in the rails. I tested the joycon on another switch and it reads it just fine, so I assumed I damaged the ribbon cable on the problem Switch and ordered a new rail for that side. I swapped the new rail in with no issue, and the Switch still won't recognize any joycons that are locked in. There is no visible damage anywhere. Is there a sensor or something anywhere on the board that registers when joycons are connected? I'm not sure what else could be the issue other than the ribbon cable, but it does the same thing with a brand new one.

Oh I fixed this a while back, its all good now@@SealToeHDProductions
Great video! how much would you charge for this kinda repair?
How long you hold the heat gun on it? My chip isnt going off after 10 minute by 500 °C
mine too 😭😭😭
@@juscelino2253 maybe the airflow is to low, or the Size from the nozzle of the Heat gun Not wide enough.
@@marsimoon185 i got it. removed and installed another m92 chip. but didnt work. now i dont know if the chip is faulty or the soldering is bad lol
@@juscelino2253 Jeah fuck, i had the same Problem and sold it on EBay for defect 🤣🤣🤣 the Buyer told me i destroyed the Display Connector, the emmc was okay but he Reballed the emmc again. Its really Not easy to get the Chip at the Right Place. Especially when you Need one contact for modchip too qq
hello Tronics, like your video. Can i send you a video of my computer display and you know what is it problem ? My local shop can't fix it T_T
Great video, I’ve recently purchased a faulty switch from eBay and one of the components are missing, would you be able to tell me what it is and it’s value? It’s the larger capacitor/ resistor at the top of the chip (joining the 3rd and 4th pins) between the “9” & “2” printed on the chip. I’m wanting to put this component back on before replacing the chip to check it’s function to see if there is anything else causing it not to power.
Why do you sound like raysworks? Great content!
What is flaks or smt i live in germany you dont have it in the Description
Flux is the paste which helps the solder reflow. Not sure the exact flux used here but you’ll be able to find loads online. SMT is an abbreviation of Surface Mount Technology. It’s the type of component that it is (not through hole) Hope this helps!
Might be a silly question but what version of the wowstick do you have? I actually bought one, and it's the same as the one in the link - the two circular buttons - but yours have arrows? O_o Is it just an earlier version?
Now I can get the one-hand fap continuity on my oled working again! Thank you!
What are you using for a microscope? Thanks! Looking at replacing this chip and the usb c port on a switch and will be using these guides!!
is this the real tronicsfix
