I love this, how you start? If it can, can you make a video from the beginning till end? I ove this style and its hard to find like this leash ,So Maybe i make one bymyself
What is the knot you are using? I want to replace the clip on a leather leash.
Aparently it's called a bleed or blood knot. It's simply two, two or three inch cuts length-ways in the lead two or three inch apart. Then you thread the lead through and into itself a few times in the right order, which I can't remember the sequence to unless I'm actually doing it. Not very helpful, I'm sorry.
Lovely! I felt like I was watching hands from another era! I think I'm going to go with pounded rivets, as my [chewed] leash is thick and stiff....but thanks for posting! I'll keep this technique in mind.

@Mapsking31 :) I had to Google Romex. we don't have that brand in the UK.
@Searchinganswers We call it 2.5 twin and earth. it is a flattened three core flex used for wiring domestic sockets in houses. The cross sectional area of the main cores is 2.5mm²
What did you call the material u used?
Stand is nice, however, I bet, even with Romex, the inductive charging doesn't work QUITE as well, lol :-)
