Little bit of playing on my first home grown guitar - nicknamed the Douglas Melody Maker. It's a Gibson SG style guitar and I am really pleased with it's tone and playability.
New Exhaust on Cleveland Cyclewerks Heist 250
Просмотров 64 тыс.9 лет назад
Little demo of the new exhaust 'silencer' I just put on my Heist 250. Really surprised at the difference it has made to the sound. It's a shame my phone didn't pick up the deep tones very well! Took me a couple of hours to modify the standard exhaust and the original rear bracket that it bolts up to.
Supercharged Subaru Impreza - In Car Sound
Просмотров 7 тыс.10 лет назад
Short film to demonstrate the sound from the Supercharger I am currently installing on my Impreza. The charger is not yet 'plumbed in', just mounted and running from an aux belt, hence there is no performance benefit yet. This video was taken with all the windows up etc, as you can hear the charger is fairly noisy but I like it. Apologies that the footage us not very stable!
Supercharged Subaru Impreza

Here's a short video of my Subaru Impreza which I'm in the process of Supercharging. Today I managed to get the belt hooked up and running! This video was taken after I'd done a 10-15 mile trip...thank fully everything was still in place! Next is sorting the intercooler and charge piping.

Syma S031G Flying Outside

Just a short out side flight with my Syma S031G. I have been practicing inside after I was over eager and crashed the first time I used it, bending the tail and snapping the rear rotor! However, I have had it nearly a month now and think I have improved massively! Its the first RC Helicopter I have owned and am really enjoying it. It was a little breezy out and the S031G does not like it and do...

Hola saludos desde chile .amigo cuanta precion entrega el supercargador.i podrias compartir las especificaciones del supercharger.desde ya muchas gracias i un abrszo desde chile
So all show no go?
Any more vids on this please
Any progress or build thread for this?
The amount of belt wrap on that power steering pump is laughable, I can only assume it slips !
stick a second one on the other side an use a 2 in 1 out intercooler and then the fun really begins
Вот это отжег на радостях!🤘🤘🤘
Is this car still about seen on on ebay wpundering if same one
ahh the old "no through" setup
😭🤣😭🤣
Try connecting the charge pipig to the throttle body!
So glad I’m not the only one who saw that😂
Seriously pipes is the easy part. But the throttle body needs to be in front of the supercharger for any bypass valve to work. I have a completed supercharged Subaru on my channel
Was the engine turboed before the supercharger, or did you charge the NA engine?
That looks like a 2.5L EJ251 motor. They're NA
China made?
Jamming on The Darkness, I like it!!! 🤘
The tuners, pickups and bridges are in gold.. Did you mod it??
Allanley genius nope, no modding. It was like this from new, I believe it was a limited run, I've not found another one though
How did you go about sorting out the pylley system. what pulleys, what belt? interested in doing this with my 2.5rs
5 years later and I'm also interested in doing this to my rs also
5 years and 1 month later and I'm also interested
is it finished.
lovely little bike
Hey , I'll continue this if u tell me how you set up the compressor and how/where you got a bigger belt. :)
Alex Turcotte you can get custom length belts at many auto parts stores if they don’t have it they just order one. Some of the belts may be too wide, all you have to do is trim them.
Maybe you can help me out here, I'm a brand new rider and am just about to get my first bike and this is definitely one of my top choices but I'm not entirely sure about the hardtail thing, I don't mind a little bit of bumps but does it make it way too uncomfortable for anything more than Sunday riding? I would probably drive it too school every once in a while through medium traffic and the road is rather straight but I want to know if it would handle right and if the hardtail makes it way too uncomfortable for 20 or so minute rides
I should note I have ridden just I haven't ever owned a bike myself
2L or 2.5L ?
It's a 2.5L EJ251
Was your Subaru turbo before you swapped it or a sport
nice sound♡♡ I signed on the contract so that I could have cool sound like yours. wondering how well this bike runs.
Hey, despite some negative views online, the bike does run great. I can only speak for mine however and each bike is different. But that said, look after it, keep up with the maintenance and it should serve you well.
im hoping to have a vintage reaper myself soon ^_^ just for the purple version
I'd like to know this too..
+AWOL733 Hi, the supercharger I used was an Eaton unit off a Mercesdes CLK, if you do an ebay search for a Mercedes CLK supercharger you should find some
+Stuart Douglas thanks bro how is it working so far.?
I'm very interessted in it, too! :) But with an 1.6i :D
what supercharger did you use?
+ASTRONO Hi, the supercharger I used was an Eaton unit off a Mercesdes CLK, if you do an ebay search for a Mercedes CLK supercharger you should find some
That is a cool sound...where u get the exhaust pipe?
+Alex Tran I just got it from a local motorcycle parts supplier - measured the length and diameter I needed then chose one I liked :)
Stuart Douglas ..just curious ...do you have problem with the gear? Mine has a hard shifting from 1st to neutral. Also when riding, sometime i get weird pop noises all a sudden. Not sure where it is from. Do you have same problem with your bike?
Hey, I've never had any issues getting 1st or any gears with mine. Not sure what you mean by weird popping, the only "pop" I get is from the exhaust when I throttle off. The only other thing I have had once or twice is a back fire through the carb/air filter - however it has been so infrequent that it's not warranted any investigation. I hope this helps!
With all due respect but why didn't you aquired Virago 250 ? Has much better sound(V-twin), cheaper bike, proven build quality ,has more accesable aprts, tons of room for customization and in general much better bike .
+Marko Beg - Simply really, I didn't want a Virago 250. I bough this for the same reason that I bought all the other vehicles I have, and have had in the past - I wanted it. Equally with due respect to yourself, what you consider a better sound is subjective, it's like telling someone who likes red wine that white is better - its purely opinion and that is yours, which is totally fine. I would also question the more "accessible parts" and room form customisation - sure, if you're only looking for bits your can bolt on then this is not the bike for you - if however you're handy in the workshop then you can take this bike as far as you want to go - and surely that's what true customisation is about isn't it, for example: static1.squarespace.com/static/524c5aa4e4b0aac0d82f7c71/546a3952e4b03fe05e4cb044/546a3961e4b07ab395a8c58d/1416247650904/Brock's%2BCustom%2BHeist.jpg static1.squarespace.com/static/524c5aa4e4b0aac0d82f7c71/t/5481275ce4b0e3ea019aa5b3/1417750322869/RSD-Cleveland-CycleWerks-Heist-9.jpg?format=750w www.trademysuperbike.com.my/images/bikephoto/fb_img_14250220_1438054112.jpg Finally, unless you have ridden one(?) I would question how you can say the virago in general is a much better bike? We can all read reviews and forums but the only true test is to get out on one. I once thought I wanted a Benelli Tornado until I took one out for a ride and realised it wasn't for me! But hey, ultimately if you ride and are happy with what you ride then surely that's all that matters?
what supercharger did you use?
Most likely a super charger from an Australian legacy
Hi, did you grind off the original pipe? Looks and sounds amazing. Exactly what I was thinking of doing. Did you have to do anything else to get it running sweet or was it all pretty straight forward?
+pfyitah Hi - yes, I took the original pipe off just before the large original silencer. I didn't have to do anything else and can honestly say the bike does run nice - maybe I got lucky, who knows?!
IT SOUNDS AMAZING! Just want to know how you got it to sound like that planning on buying one soon and would like it to have more of a grunt.
+Dylan Johnstone Thanks - It was a pretty simply job, I got the exhaust from a local retailer who stocks custom parts, I measured the diameter of the standard down pipe (before it reaches the larger silencer section) and also measured the standard exhaust's length. Then I spent a little while looking at a couple of universal silencers, found a design that I liked, one that was long enough and that also came with some reducing couplers to enable me to match it up the diameter of the existing down pipe. Then it was just a couple of hours modifying the existing downpipe and sorting the mounting bracket out. It might be worth noting that I took the exhaust assembly off the bike to carry out the work.

Sounds amazing man! One of the best sounding Heists for sure!
noodles806 Thanks for the comment!
that stache has a great weight and tone!
What exhaust are you using? I'm looking at picking up a heist myself very soon. This sounds much better than a lot of other videos I've seen. Good video.

All the best with your Heist, I hope you get one sorted soon!
Stuart Douglas I appreciate the reply, good info.
cool, what do you feel about this bike?
I really like it. Its never going to be a fast bike, however I have taken her up to 85mph on the stock setup, I wouldn't want to go much past that. But its a different type of biking experience - when you're riding at around 55-65mph she's sweetest, the induction noise from the air filter has a very old school, 1960's sound which is nice. The standard exhaust doesn't do the bike/engine justice, but swapping it out makes a huge difference to the bikes presence. I've had quite a lot of bikes - old and new, sports and retro and I have a track day or two under my belt - this bike is one of my favorites to ride. Thanks
congratz to your mum on passing her cbt i passed mine yesterday looking forward to scooting now :)
Do You have wilkinson pickups?
does the wine bother you?
The whine = power so probably not haha
Any more progress on the plumbing? I'm tuned into your channel! ~Thomas
Hey, Not yet - had a house move to contend with! Hopefully going to get back on to it in the next few weekends! Thanks for tuning in
Ive got the same helicopter but it wont come off the ground, can you help me?
What happens when you try and take off?
It just spins around on the floor its brand new but the back tail rotar wont spin either?
Has to be the prettiest bike so far ever made especially in this livery.....rear tail like darth vaders helmet ..... to die for .... his son maybe? ;-)
I love these burny's les pauls just picked one up for $500 Installed grover tuners on it and ordered a complete tone pro's set up for bridge and tail piece with anchors for both of them. I have a Gibson studio 1991 and it is definetly compariable to it. It will be just as good after I finish up grading it. The electronics are just fine stock.
Hey, what did that start as? I have a gpz 305 belt drive that I'm planning to chop with as little work as possible and thus far, I can't find a single person who has turned one into a chopper.
I really enjoyed listening to this
F4RR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do I do this effect?
Sorry but your comment makes no sense. So are the people (May be its you?) pulling wheelies on the CR125 video on your page good, safe riders because they're wearing helmets? I mean it doesn't matter that its on a public road or anything...as long as they have a helmet on then they're a safe, good rider, correct?! She's riding on our private family land and is not endangering anyone. Please think before you comment.
nice without a helmet a good rider is a safe rider
LEGEND !!!!
Its from the Papa Roach song Last Resort...just came into my head whilst i was playing
Whats the riff called you play at 1:54?
