@@BlakeWaddell-qz4il I use a bi-metal hacksaw blade and then sand it down on the belt sander. I place a piece of cardboard around the brass while I'm cutting to leave a little protrusion to keep it from cutting into the wood.

@laff000 it's actually not too bad once you run a couple tests. I don't think I'll be using it for much more than straight holes though. The angled bit seemed too difficult to control.

Does it allow you to drill at any angle you choose?

@celticman138 no, it has set increments of 45, 60, 75 and 90. I tried to set it in between one of those and it fell into the grooves of the closest preset.

@shanemiller4108 I think you're the 2nd person to mention having trouble getting it to go back.. I just used it again this weekend and had no issues. I must be getting lucky - I go real slow putting it back and "guide it" with my hand. It did twist once and pinched the hell out of my gloved finger!

@@fortorangewoodworking thank you for sharing, my 2012 Sienna’s AC started intermittently not work, the AC light would blink and I’d lose cold air but after a few minutes, I’d turn it on and I’d get cold air and it would work for that drive. Now it just blinks and never blows cold, it has been 13 years and 163k miles, think I’m just going to replace the AC Compressor.

I painted the exterior of a brick building and noticed three drawbacks: 1) it clogs occasionally and needs to be re-primed. This isn't a big deal once you get used to it. 2) You have to lug your buckets around if you have to relocate the paint job. However, you'll have to do this with the upgraded model, too, as there is place for the trolley to carry your buckets as you move - they sit on the ground. 3) There is no wheeled trolley with this model. It makes it smaller and more portable, but harder to move from one spot to another. My solution - I'm going to build a small trolley that keeps the machine off the ground and can carry the buckets as I move. That being said - the price for the quality is very good and building my own carrier will still be cheaper and way more efficient for big jobs. Thanks for the question!

@Tommy-rf9sw I would double check your manual - I don't believe you need to disconnect the spark plug or wire after each use. It only recommends removing the spark plug to prep it for long term storage. The wire and the boot are different parts, fyi. Messing with the spark plug without reinstalling properly could cause you more trouble in the long run.

@@fortorangewoodworking I double checked my manual and it definitely says “spark plug wire” on step 8 on the after each use section. It’s only on the quick start guide and not in the owner’s manual(doesn’t have after each use section). I think it even applies to the 2700 psi model if you want to check. Can you tell me what’s the difference between the plug and wire, I can’t identify it on the machine?

@Tommy-rf9sw I looked at both the quick start guide and user manual for your model and did not see what you're referring to. However, the wire and the boot are different parts. There shouldn't be a reason why you would need to do anything with either of them for after use, for short term storage. You may want to consult with Westinghouse to avoid nullifying your warranty or causing damage. I'm afraid I'm a user, not a technician, such as yourself.
