Simple Predator 223 Go Kart Build Using Nothing But Amazon Parts! Part 1
I love mine. Use it vertically most of the time. Was interesting watching your video and thanks for presetting/practicing so as not to pain us all the adjustments because of the abysmal assembly instruction! Nice Vid dude...
Do you have a video on how you made the rear axle assembly?
I am just starting your build series.... you started with a relic of a 900. Just FYI that thing makes about 125 corrected on a good day. I might say a lot less. The 950 Big bore kit and some cams will wake it up pretty quickly. It is over valved from the factory. Port speed is too slow. Shift forks are weak spots as well as 2nd and 5th gears on the dog and slots. Getting them hard welded and undercut is a cheap and effective solution later on. The clutch is way more than enough for all the power you can throw at it so thats a good thing.
Read the assembly instructions before making a video.
What size are the screws
Is there anything that can be cut on your band saw setup shown here that I couldn't cut on either my 7.5" or 12" sliding miter saws with a high quality metal cutting blade?
Why do the shocks need straps?
Why don’t you use square box section? No notching… easier cuts.
Pleased I found your channel. Could you not have squashed the pipe in the vice rather than hammering? Nice job regardless.
I appreciate you making the video, but I can tell you've never touched a portaband in your life. It's all good, but for starters, it's a blade, not a belt. 2) Try not to hurt yourslf. Lol 3) It's probably best if people dont try to make how to videos about stuff that they know nothing about. I'm just saying.... Thanks for the video, tho!
I would definitely get an outerwear cover over that foam filter, looks like a lot of debris will be going into that airbox! Other than that, looks 🔥
Awesome build but you’re right about too much throw on the shifter. Easiest way to fix would be to lift the shifter up and mount it to the side of the buggy and cut the rod down so the shifter knob will still be at the same height.
Hey brother you into pcp airgun as well,I got same high pressure pump and bucket cooler set ,i built a 3 stage high press. Water separator as well.
I'm gonna buy that stand n saw real soon.
❤
I have a Kawasaki bayou 220 with a DC muffler I called it kawaraptor it sounds really good and deep.
What size engine?
How do you wedge with an equal length parallel four link?
I think it is real nice when will you start on the 4x4 build?
Wicked awesome
What’s that axle out of?
98 Kawasaki Bayu. Stretched tubes and longer Axles.
Lmfao...tall Santa...thanks bro!!!
LOL
Slick idea to clamp the two cables together
Thanks man! Feels pretty strong!
Normal operating temperatures should 220°-230°
Wicked awesome machine
Let's get this going!! Like and sub, guys!!
Really appreciate it! Thank you!
Just commenting to help the algorithm in the channel Sweet build man
I appreciate it!
Looks good! I personally would keep the silencer on.
I agree. I'm kinda leaning towards the second option without the cap on the end.
Good shit
Thanks Brother! Feel better.
It's probably too late for you to want to reengineer it, but there are 2 massive upgrades you can make to this that'll have similar characteristics as a solid axle while eliminating several downsides/adding quite a few benefits. 1. Convert it to a de-dion axle. 2. Switch the link setup to a Satchell Link. If you can't find adequate explanations yourself, I'd be happy to explain further in another comment. For the exhaust, I say run it wide open, but put the caps back on the inserts and keep the inserts, screws, and allen key on the buggy in a little bag so you can go "stealth mode" if you have to. I highly doubt that engine is putting out enough exhaust flow to be restricted by the fully capped insert, especially since you have TWO mufflers for it to flow through instead of just one.
Thank you! appreciate the tip. We might have to swap the engine assuming it doesn't put out enough HP. Shes getting heavy. Might be a great opportunity.
@@ModzandMore413 Epic! Just make sure that you have a solution for ACTUAL 2wd in the diff. 2wd is great fun, but 1wd? Not so much and 4x more likely to get stuck, too! Also, speaking about power, I think anything in the 35-90hp range would be great for this build, especially with at least 30-50lb-ft of torque. Just be mindful of engine weight, too! No sense in putting a Harley 883 on there to get into the 50hp/50tq range, but have an engine that weighs as much as a full-grown man when you can put a Duke 890 motor on there for more than double the power/rpm and only 2/3 the weight (plus a cooler sound, too, IMO).
Great job can't wait to see more!
Thank you!
fuck yea!!!!
Joffyjoe!
Hi, I like your builds when will this build come out look forward to it.
Hi Steven, So I'm holding off on this one for a little because we might end up using this engine on the 2x4 solid axle build if the one in there ends up being a dog. It's for sure a bit small for a buggy of that size lol! Fingers crossed
the music is badly on my nerve
Niceee
Thanks 🤗
Absolutely love this build. I didn’t realize you only had a little over 200 subs until after the video was over. Well made and very underrated videos you have. Definitely deserve a lot more subscribers!
Thanks a ton! I really appreciate it! Hopefully more people start to see them, I have some really cool builds planned.
Really nice work. Keep it up buddy
Thanks, will do!
Ya the dash looks great lot of work coming out nice
Appreciate it!
What size tubing you using for this build?
This one is 1" tubing.
What was included and what options were needed to be purchased?
I bought one of their kits that came with one die set and the HD bender. The air over system was a separate option. All in it was around $1,400 or so.
I like that it's big enough for 2 people comfortable and can easily be modified more in the future if something isn't good or safe Cool concept but I think you'll want more power after testing!! Great work !!
Totally agree! Thank you!
Looking good!!
Thank you!
can wait till its done and running
Almost there!
Sounds awesome. What rear differential is that?
Thank you! The diff is from a Kawasaki Bayou 230. Years ago I cut the axle tubes off and welded in longer tubes with longer axles. Ended up being a pretty cool little rear end. Its built pretty tough... way stronger than the 230cc it came out of.
@@ModzandMore413 awesome!

Awesome build!! What bender are you using? Was it crazy expensive ?
Cool! Cant wait to see more

Great videos. You deserve more subscribers! Hope more find your channel.
Thank you! Appreciate the support!
Excellent job from scratch looking real cool what do you viewer's think any suggestions ya na what do you say like to hear..you heard.
Thank you!
What transmission and differentials are you gonna be using on this project?
I have 2016-2022 Mazda Miata diffs for front and rear with a T90 transmission. I'll have to build some kind of front wheel drive disconnect to shut down the front when not in use.
@@ModzandMore413 watch rather be welding video. He has some hubs that disconnect using vacuum pressure. I believe they’re from a Ford ranger.
@@ModzandMore413 he also uses the T9 transmission from a jeep on a couple of his buggy builds
Haha damn tall brother
LMAO!!!
