Eric Gales live Atlanta (You don’t Know the Blues) 12/9/2022
I was like 30 seats to the right dude!!
Holy shit, from this angle it looked like Singleton got SOO robbed on his last deadlift attempt. What did the judge want? A shrug as well with 900+lbs? An overhead press? xD
@@3X73RM they had strict rules that they went over with the athletes before hand. The fingers had to stay wrapped around the bar so you dont let the straps do all the work. He didnt keep his fingers around the bar
Thanks for the video! What a great show! Thor was definitely the strongest, but didn't get to win this time...
@@pr0pellerhead nope he wasnt able to rack up the points like Hooper.
Thor is a fucking beast, Hooper's squat was shit (no depht) I can't believe the referee counted all his repetitions and why the Thor"s dumbell was not counted
Depth was the same for everyone. It was set so that everyone went down to the same depth. Hooper is just better at adjusting to the equipment and he is one of the shorter athletes of all of them. All they had to do was bring it down for the green light, which he did, and push back up for a complete rep. He was able to position himself so that he could do it. As far as the dumbbells.. they all knew the rules. You have to bring it up with one arm and hold it at the top for at least a second without moving your feet or bending your elbow. Thor was not able to hold it long enough in a straight elbow position.
@@bdawg2513 so why everybody said (Tom Platz included) his squat was bad?for the dumbell i can't see enough , you are too far from him
@@ShinoxSturmreiterDesTode not sure, maybe they weren't aware of the rules either. Go watch Brian Shaw's latest vid explaining it all
The depth on the squat was not the same
it was a alright comp it wasn't as hype as last year if you were there too. there were issues with the stones, axel and squat. it was meme to see like half of the competitors zero all the events.
yea the axle mess up was not good but the rest of it I felt was fine. But I didn't really see a problem with the stones since several of the athletes were lifting them. Squats are iffy... I mean Hooper getting 10 reps tells me he was just more adaptable to the equipment. Thor should have gotten more reps but I kind of feel like he didn't feel like pushing 100% with the other events coming. That's just my theory. Overall I really enjoyed it and I thought the judges and crew did great. Athletes all did what they could as some of them had some injury issues.
Saw the show at DPAC, absolutely incredible! What's the name of the opener?
Not sure but it sounded great. I saw a Brian Cox presentation at DPAC a few years ago. Nice venue
Beautiful human song!!
lovely sounds but NO, just NO... because it's NOT only a slightly more than 28 minute flight! so, what are you PLAYING at?? just WEIRD!!
Not sure I understand what you are saying. The flight was actually like 90 minutes or so. But it is cut down so it's not too long and boring. But what do you mean when you say "but NO, just NO" ?? and "what are you PLAYING AT??" I don't know what you mean by that
Very good flight 😊
I'll be taking this flight in a cpl weeks. My first time at Las Vegas airport and first time in San Francisco. Hope it was a good flight
So far I haven't had a bad flight on Southwest. Vegas is fun and SF is really cool. Lots to do there
@@bdawg2513 same. I've always used southwest!. Vegas is a layover for me from Ohio to San Francisco
@@ohio_thunder83 oh gotcha. Well you'll have fun in SF.
The scenery is stunning!!! And now I must go!
Wow!! Those trees are amazing!
That they are :)

Thanks for sharing!
You had some awesome seats!
They did not have any nonstop flights from phoenix to denver?
That was non stop from Pheonix to Denver. Denver was the connection to get to Atlanta.
@@bdawg2513 Oh ok gotcha
I was there. So thankful 👍
Worth the epileptic seizure!!
Thank you for posting this. I lost a family member Feb 7 he took his life. This was the best moment of the show for me, I was too emo to record. Many many thanks 🙏 😊
Wow sorry to hear that. Take care!
Absolutely FILTHY
Awesome!!!!!
The crowd reaction makes me so happy.
Wow! I won't miss that show again!
blistering.
This was my first show and I was 5 now I’ve been to 18 and I’m 10
Hey just curious what section did y’all sit in and what row?
Good question. This was a few years ago so I can't really remember those details. Do you think you were sitting close to where I was?
Why is Tomas not playing the quadruplets on the bass?
Good question. I would not know the answer to that
Yeah noticed that. I think he’s only playing the right foot part on the kick.
@@ryanf2029 sounds like the mic is busted cause If you listen with headphone and play close attention they're there
I actually don't think he could play it anymore. Now confirmed as of recently.
That guy is fat because he refuses to go down to the pit and get some exercise.
I was here. Great show and amazing time! Still reminisce about it
I was there too
@@stacymathews1903 Me as well!
@@sharkbaitoohhahhaamazing show....Can't wait til this summer
Man Imagine the series of concerts every year for 15 years is pretty amazing with his age and how he executed those powerful and hard notes/songs, he still perform and deliver the awesome entertainment for the crowds, is so impressive, Arnel still kickass
Good luck seeing crappy music after that. This band changes musical live experience. You have been fairly warned.
Anymore meshuggah vids coming or is that it from the concert? Also did you record any opening acts?
I do have a couple more vids from it. I can throw them up at some point soon.
@@bdawg2513 ok cool
I brought my homie from the High school days. He could not stop thanking me. Mission accomplished 😊
@@deweytucker5413 niiiiiiiice, I’ve never been to one
@@deweytucker5413 Metal shows tend to have that effect on people :)
Atlanta was insane!!!
Agreed! I love Meshuggah shows.
I was there... WAY up in the cheap seats
How were you able to post this without it being copyright claimed?
I don't know, almost every concert vid I put up is claimed but for some reason a couple aren't.
Small stage for a stadium
Not a great opener.
Should be Stage Fright.
Thank God Joe can still sing
This was a fun night.
Can't wait to see them in October.
I feel ya, I'll be there again myself :)
same. Hopefully they play bleed again!
I was there for the 1st time in Birmingham Alabama with my girlfriend
That was my first time there too. This was a birthday gift for my wife. Brent is her hallpass... for some reason :/
First time I've ever heard james forget the lyrics lol... he caught it quick though
lol yea I remember I immediately noticed because I was singing along. At first I thought I sang the wrong lyrics but realized it wasn't me... :)
Wonderful tribute
Nice!
Glad I didn't pay to hear that crap.
bruh u missed out lol
Thanks for posting this. I think I was about 4 rows in front of you! What an awesome concert.
Agreed, they sounded great.
Saw them open for ministry in ‘08 at the old masquerade(heaven). Loudest show ive been to
