Glad to see you. Congratulations on sweet baby boy! I completely agree with showing kids on RUclips that's why I keep my kids pictures off my flosstubes. Love your projects. Give yourself lots of grace and stitch when you feel like it and we will see you when you are able to flim, its a lot to make each flosstube. Congratulations again.

Have a baby is one of the best things I ever did in my life, must have loved it a lot because I had six amazing boys. Now I’m loving being a Nana, Grandma and MeeMaw. Katie! Congratulations to you and Alex! I had a suspicion that’s why you were gone for a while. Enjoy the time before he arrives and hope you have a smooth delivery. Looking forward to seeing you whenever you pop up. That’s a very cute little sampler you’ve planned on stitching. And don’t worry we won’t hold you to any timeline 😂 I stopped stitching after my daughter was born and didn’t pick it up again until COVID and by then boy had the stitching world changed. So good to see you back and hear your baby news. I made that heart in hand sampler for my newest great nephew who is now 13 months old. I’ve been trying to finish up my WIPS when doable before the end of the year. I’m still pondering a “plan” for 2025, there’s so many options.

HaPpY AnNiVeRarY! I have loved loving your progress over the last year and a half! If you are uncertain about using the mottled fabric, find a designer who has used it in their pattern to get comfortable with it and give you an idea what you might want to try on your own. Also I have noticed that some of the Quaker samplers seem to work beautifully on a mottled fabric(that witchy fall Quaker you are working on would be pretty on the BeStitchMe fabric). It is a whole different look so trying something small might help you decide if it is a look you like. I finished reading The Violin Conspiracy, loved it. Currently reading The Murders in Great Diddling. I am approaching the half way mark and I can’t say yet if I would recommend it. It is supposed to be a bit of a cozy mystery- like PBS Masterpiece Theatre style. Also going to start Rosewood Manor Autumn Quaker for sampler September (today is the 20th so I should start that soon!-lol).

I meant to tell you last week but got busy with work….I wanted to wish you Happy Birthday. 🎉

Happy Birthday! 🎉 🍁 I haven't done seasonal stitching this year. A new stocking pattern, Quaker sal and a grad gift for my son have been my main rotations this summer. I recently listened to Under the Tulip Tree by Michelle Shocklee. It was an amazing book. I needed a couple days after to just absorb it before I attempted to find a new book.
