This scene was so powerful. The overall story was amazing and entertaining but though it seems small in the grand scheme of the movie, really gave such strength to the story arc and the reason he started this and went back to a place he never wanted to be in ever again. Such magic story writing and entertainment.

I can't help but love this movie. It has the mix of the 90s and early 2000s all in one film, giving it a nice tone that is recognizable. Plus, this was back when Nicolas Cage still had juice in the tank of his career. I miss when films were made like this back in the day, no CGI.

This was a really good movie. Sometimes remakes don’t do justice to the original. This did. There’s nothing they should’ve done differently. I was glad Eleanor didn’t get beat to shreds ike in the original. Very good movie

A great film, I absolutely loved it. It was pretty much cross genre of crime thriller with great moments of levity and comedy.

This was the movie that introduced me to the brilliance of Christopher Eccleston. A few short years later, I’d be flipping through the cable and stumbling upon a sci-if show on the (then) Sci-Fi Channel where Christopher played a renegade alien who traveled through time and space in a strange blue box. Because I remembered Christopher’s performance in this movie, I stopped to watch. I’ve been a proud Whovian ever since but I’m a Christopher Eccleston and a Doctor Who fan because of this film.
