This song was my heartfelt song/prayer through a very complicated, stressful, traumatic time for my family. Just to hear the intro, my heart starts relaxing, anticipating the prayer and relaxing in God’s guidance. Today is the anniversary of the death of my former husband after being in a coma for 2 months. It inspired me to search for this song that was so important to me (my survival) during those intense and tortuous years surrounding our divorce. It’s now been over a decade since, and I have the benefit of hindsight. Let me encourage any out there that may read this: I am full of gratitude today that the Lord absolutely answered the heart-cry of my heart every time I heard this song and when I would just recall it’s words. The Lord did guide me “to find it” - right paths- step by step, situation by situation, and gave me peace for the moments I needed to be still. He brought about, through prayer, guidance, His love, and dear friends who prayed with me throughout, reconciliation and healing between him and me, our nuclear family and our extended family. So important for every heart of our family. A testimony to those who would not acknowledge Christ, because the difference He brought about is undeniable. A real testimony of what God does: forgives, restores, rebuilds! Thank you Sidwalk Prohets for this song, every nite and word and musical accompaniment. Thank you to the folks who put this beautiful slide show with the lyrics, and appropriate scriptures added in background. It’s lovely.

I listened to this song a lot last year when I was diagnosed with several health issues, including weakness and decreased coordination, along with increased tremors, on my left side. It really comforted me and reminded me to just let God have His way in my life.
