You can buy skin packs, which is what these are. Map was new several months back. Give the game a try again.

History will repeat itself. Hirez makes a minimum viable Tribes game, drop support, and change their focus and resources to something else. Tribes ascend -> Smite, Tribes 3 -> Honorball. I'd be fine with it if they would actually make a balanced game and continue support with updated maps, etc., but they continually make changes that remove all fun, challenging, and emergent aspects of the game.

lol i get that. but in regular matches these guys do not usually even make it to the flag. in my experience, about 1 in 3 tries (by the same person) will be successful in touching the flag, and only about half that get it make it away alive. it takes a lot of set up time to get altitude like this. what you dont see in this video is probably about 20 or 30 seconds of set up time just to get the starting height. plus, the pushback from a single disc landing anywhere near you will ruin your trajectory so you have to literally not get touched on your way into swipe the flag. (very unlikely). and if there's a mine on the flag, you're dead. if there's a body standing on the flag, you get body blocked and lose all momentum. it looks super easy when no one is shooting at this guy in offline mode. give it a chance and you'll love it, especially if you're a fan of arena shooters. just dont expect to get good right away, the people playing this game are all ancient elder-gamers who grew up on tribes.

You are missing out. Granted the game is in alpha, so yes, things are broken. But it is still fun and fixes that itch from Tribes 1 days. And Blink isn't impossible to stop. This video doesn't show any defense. Its just a possible route for a capper.

did you know you can throw your turret into the gold flourish things that are on either side of the flag on the corners of the base? it clips into the model but can shoot out from so its invisible. kinda cheese but us medium d's gotta do what we can.

@@leetdemon game hasn't existed for so many years for a reason. if they don't make additions and changes that help attract/grow a new playerbase, nobody's going to play it beyond the handful of people that did 25 years ago and are still playing video games totally the right move to try and shake things up imo

@s Thats pretty much the consensus of every T1 Vet(Minus maybe a handful but even those do not think either of those was better than T1)...im glad you enjoyed them though.
