Charging in two doors?!
Where can I get this c one for my ps4 controller won't stay
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 共鸣我的手指出
or you could buy the ps4 usb c board and have a real usb c port on your ps4 controller There only like 10 bucks
True, but they require opening the controller, and cutting the shell. Not everyone is comfortable doing that, and the ribbon cables are pretty easy to damage. This is also useful for diagnosing charging port faults without opening the controller, which is what I mainly use it for.
seeing your store is out of stock, Is it fine if I bulk order a couple and sell them on ebay basically at cost?
Yeah, no problem, I appreciate you asking first :) I do have some more PCBs on the way, but it will probably be another month before they're here.
Hello, I want to buy from Turkey. Can you give me an address where I can contact you? The product is out of stock.
Hi, I have some more PCBs on the way but they will take a few weeks to get here. Keep an eye on the store for when they are available.
Just installed mine, and it works amazingly! Thanks for sharing :)
That's great, enjoy :)
Liked your style & approach here🙏🏻 Look forward to seeing the battery replacement video. Wish i had knowhow to update to Android 11!
Thanks, appreciate the comment. Check out the XDA forums, I used the upgrade guide over there.
thank you so much!
The tab looks sleek and lightweight. I used only one Sony phone and it was amazing to back in 2013. Always wanted to buy another but the company left the market from my region.
It really is, wish they still made tablets like this.
Honestly just commenting because I love the old Sony Z tablet. I wish they still produced this size of tablet. :(
Yeah same, I looked into replacing it and nothing this size compares, especially the display quality.
@qubitstech I'm picking up a used Lenovo Y700 2023. I recently discovered these are probably the best small android tablet one can buy in the current year. The other tablet I was considering was the Samsung Active Tab5 - which has a 120hz display, swappable battery, headphone jack and even takes regular phone calls....but it's looks and specs are rather outdated. I hold out hope for more options coming out over the next few years....
Nice video. Is good to see more videos about repair. Hoping to see the batery replace
Thanks, will definitely look into it at some point if I can find a decent battery supplier.
Nice video, is this still running an outdated version of Klipper?
Thanks, I assume so as the last update was in January. When I have time, I plan to try and get a newer version of Klipper running on it, as the board itself seems pretty generic.
It still doesnt
For me, the rubber underneath the 🅰️ button was torn, causing the button to become rather wobbly, & eventually it couldn’t be pressed anymore. I readjusted the broken part, but that was only a temporary fix. Any ideas on how to fix it properly?
Hi, I think really the only way to fix it properly is to replace the membrane, though getting a replacement will be tricky. You'd need to find another controller, as they are not available to buy separately. As a last resort, you could try fixing the tear with some silicone glue, though you'd have to get it to sit correctly to have any hope of it working properly again. Sorry I don't have a better suggestion for you.
Thank u you so muck my freind
Thank you
Where to buy
Maybe you can help. My original ps2 memory card stopped working. I’ve already cleaned it and yes, it makes contact with the ps2 slots. However it doesn’t read at all. My brand new ps2 memory card and my old ps1 card read just fine in either slot.
Hi, if possible I would suggest testing it in another console. Otherwise, flash memory has a limited lifespan, and I would guess the card is probably dead. There's not much else on the PCB to diagnose. These cards are probably around 2 decades old, so wouldn't be a surprise for some to have died by now.
@@qubitstech I can take it to a local game store and try, but if there’s any other way, I just need it to work for as long as I need to transfer EVERYTHING from the old one to new one..
aphid larva, aka micro cockroaches TLDR @ below lol they have a lot of lifecycle types and a lot of varierties, check out uow writeup, i have a special aloe that has been attacked for over a year now, it's in a 1L mason jar, about +95% sealed and hoards of them just keep hatching and attackin the plant then dying inside my little biome of death lol, the Aloe has regrown itself over 9 times now in this capsule lol to me all this shitflies are as bad as a swarm of locusts, they killed 3-4 dozen plant species i had growing indoors. seems they can't compete outside... with only 1! 4-5yr old mother spider plant and the incapsulated "phoenix" aloe survived after 14mths or so of initial infestation... but the birds and 50 other critters reglularly attack those growing outside, slugs being the absolute savage worst, (the birds literally uproot almost anything i plant and whatever they don't touch the slugs devour every night! TLDR: micro cockroaches are tough! buy neem oil and/or diatemaceous earth (silicone dioxide), both natural, but everything can be dangerous, common sense required, BUT! skip the nonsense home remedies! you will waste nothing but time and money only to lose your plants in the end!
Thanks for the detailed comment, and sorry for the delay getting back to you, I'll take a look at your suggestions! So far, I've isolated anything that seems to be infested, and sprayed them with soapy water which seems to have helped, though they seem to really like one particular succulent. I've seen neem oil recommended elsewhere, but wasn't sure what I was dealing with and if it works on them - I'll give it a go now I know what they are.
Anywhere i can buy one of these? I have a wyse 3040 and the internal ssd is shot.
Probably not, though you can order the PCBs and solder the socket on yourself (if you've soldered before, it's pretty easy as the pins are fairly large). I think a USB drive would be a better choice, a low profile USB adds very little to the size of the 3040.
What is the name for that thing?

I love the Pimoroni boards...but the cable being routed over the board and not through the board is an issue. I just bought the Pimoroni dual NVMe hat for the Pi5 and the fit in the case is suck that I had to file away a tiny bit of the hat to keep pressure off of the cable. After close visual inspection I noticed that my hat is just ever so slightly longer than the Pi5, which is actually the reason for the tension on the cable in the case. Very disappointing for such a good board, otherwise. I have another dual hat from another manufacturer and that cable is routed through a slot in the board, better design.
Yeah, I've seen a few other boards (Geekworm have quite a few variants) which look interesting, I like that this one sits under the Pi to keep the top open for cooling, but I'm not a huge fan of the cable design. Being exposed on the edge of the board is definitely a weak point of the design.
Can i use a regular type c cord to charge it?
Yes, any type C cable should work.
A quoi servent les autres vis qui restent? les plus longues par exemple
i guess it will not be seen as internal storage, right ? i mean for a clean OS install (chrome os flex)
It will show up separately to the built-in storage, though the mount point will be similar so it should appear as a second internal drive. Guess it depends on the OS though and which mount points it classes as internal/external.
Dude ParkyTowers is yours? THANK YOU for your writeups on the SX0, that was a wonderful little seedbox for me. :D Even had an IDE converter to hook an external 750 GB HDD into it. Mucking around in the CS5536 driver was fun too. ;D
No, unfortunately ParkyTowers isn't mine, though I agree it's a great site. :)
Question: how does this compare to a Orange Pi Zero 3?
I haven't tried the Orange Pi Zero 3, but from looking at specs/benchmarks, I would say this is a little faster. Software support will definitely be better, that's the main benefit of this having an Intel CPU.
Just found your channel. Excellent Content - another sub for you sir!
Thank you :)

Thanks! This worked!
just ordered some boards from your file🙏🏽 thank u for those...how many pins do the type c sockets need to be? and video of your solder work
That's great to hear, glad the files could be of use :) The USB port is the 16 pin variant, something that looks like this www.aliexpress.com/item/33015630556.html
@@qubitstech thank you!!!
@@qubitstech was soldering the pins a pain?
I use solder paste for the pins, which I find fairly easy. I start with the pins to ensure they are aligned, then use normal solder for the legs before tidying the up the pins to remove any excess solder/bridges. Flux makes this easier if there's a lot of extra paste. Before using paste, I used to drag solder the pins. It did the job, though the clean up could take a while. If you give this a go, I would say don't be afraid to bridge the pins to begin with, but try to keep the solder as close to the pads as possible. If you get a solder bridge near the plastic housing, you'll end up melting into the plastic trying to clean it up.
@@qubitstech you're awesome man!
Can you use that device to connect your controller to your PlayStation? I connected all of my controllers to my friends PS4 and when I tried to connect them to my PS4 using the cable that came with console the controller with blink once like it was going to charge but turn back off I would on and off when I would disconnect it and reconnect it. I’ve even tried resetting the controllers but they still don’t work, I’m hoping it will connect using the cable that came with PS4 if it doesn’t I don’t know what else I can do
Unfortunately not, the EXT port does not provide a data connection. If you're willing to open the controller, you can get replacement USB boards for a reasonable price (the USB board is separate from the main board) - just be careful plugging in the cable to the USB board.
@@qubitstech Thank you I really appreciate it🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for nothing🎉
Thanks! Freaking Great Video right to the point I saw this with a memory card that I had from buying a ps2 from a lady for $15 about 2 years ago and all I had to do was put it back in place just from watching your video the ps2 sadly doesn’t work with disc they had a lot of Free McBoot stuff on the memory and the hard drive
Bro finally found what we need it for
There are 2 pins that look to be about 1.5mm tall that hold the bottom of the PCB. It's almost like it's made to intentionally break over time imo
(I have the red one lol) I’ve been having a problem with my controller. It was working just fine when I first bought it, but then after a bit it just stopped working. It just wouldn’t charge for some reason no matter how long I left it plugged in for. I haven’t used the controller for a good couple years because of that. I was never sure if it was something on the inside of the controller or the charger cord itself. And yeah, it’s the original cord for the rock candy controller. Do you have any idea as to what the problem might be??
Sorry for the late reply, only just seen your comment. I'd check the battery voltage first of all, and if it's low, use an external charger to charge it. Check all wires etc. as it's possible a wire has come loose. It's hard to say for certain, but if it's unusable, you have nothing to lose opening it up.
Thank you!
Just ordered one of these off eBay, which linux distro do you recommend for the Dell Wyse 3040? I'm assuming my go to of Pop!_OS is too large for the 8GB, although I will probably have a Samsung t7 connected at all times.
Sorry for the late reply, only just say your comment. I use Gentoo with a USB drive for extra storage (with /usr and /var/tmp moved to the USB) and it works well. If you want something lightweight, antiX seems to do the job, but really anything should be fine if you're willing to use the USB drive for the OS. The internal storage is slow anyway, so you won't really be losing anything.
