This flight from Ashurst Lake around Mormon Lake was really special and seemed like slow motion. The colors were beautiful and the wildlife we witnessed was wonderful. It was like a sacred flight for me-one I really needed.

That was amazing. Looks like Prescott. Where is this?
It’s Ashurst Lake:Mormon Lake about 20-30 miles south of Flagstaff
🔥💯

Yep, just outside Havasu.
FTroop37F, interested in Training?
@@chancer74 ...Hey Chance. We've spoken on Messenger (I'm in Prescott) I trained in 2020.
Pretty good video for someone with a crushed vertebrae.
OMG, the colors are tremendous, really brings out the beauty in that area. And you topped it off with a flight over the Grand Falls, which you can no longer drive to! Outstanding video and editing work!!
Thanks Bob! Yeah the colors were beautiful, as was Grand Falls!
You should talk some while you are flying, then you would be the Tucker Gott of Arizona!!

Brady, that's a beautiful area to fly. I'm 2 hours from there in CV and want to fly with you there.
I manage a private Facebook group of paramotor pilots called Northern AZ PPG Flyers and am hosting a fly-in event on Aug. 18-19 up here. Let me know if you’re interested in joining us!
@@BSmithPPG ..Yeah I know. It's Aidan, I'll seeya in August
An under appreciated location. Always feels like you’re the only one out there.
Agree 100%!
Brady, mesmerizing videograpy, as usual. Have you considered adding narration, or textual data with more location or historical relevance? Kudos again!
I hate the sound of my voice so I tend to not narrate. Though there are some really cool aspects to talk about in some of these areas. I did with my earlier videos. I suppose I should give it a try again. Thanks for your comment!
Nice!
Marvelous! Great choice of accompanying music too!
That was a pretty smooth landing!
Beautiful! This is about the only way a non-Navajo can see Grand Falls. We tourists should have been better stewards of the land!
Yep, only from the air these days. I have a hard time believing that’s the reason they closed it to non-natives. I have flown over the Navajo Nation quite a bit and see how their personal land looks-and unfortunately it looks like a junkyard in many instances. I know it’s not popular to say such things, but that’s what I see from the sky.
@@azparamotor yep... Our last trip through reservations for me at least, left me thinking the "crying indian" commercials from the 1970s were a big lie. We hiked hundreds of miles in national parks and never saw so much as a chewing gum wrapper on the ground, but 2 miles into Navajo land & the place reminded me of open landfill areas. The biggest garbage item? liquor and beer containers that likely would cause issues if they were disposed of properly with one's household trash...so? they get tossed out the window of thee pickup truck on the side of the road. Leased land = no pride of ownership = trash everywhere.
Yep. This is very true. Sadly.
I had the privilege of going to Morro Bay High School...the parking area at the end of the road just behind the launch zone is one of the areas where we would go to engage in a festerly session before, during and after school while observing the wave conditions and the view of The Rock !!!
