Does this T7000 glue accept the high temperatures of the VTX? I want to shield the vtx and follow your step by step. I intend to fly in the rain.
@pedrogabryyel T7000 becomes softer when hot, but I dont know the exact transition temperature. At room temperature, it is like hard rubber. When I need to remove it, I heat it up with a desoldering hot air gun at about 200C. And it can be removed like a snot :) The air blows from a distance so it does not heat up to 200C. More in the range of 80-150.

Hi, maybe servo travel end point is not set correctly and while braking/max throttle you overload servo gears? Just buy the same size known brand. Support your local dealers, e-shops.
@ I tried I have the settings maxed out so that it’s the least travel but it does the same thing I don’t know what too do I just upgraded my steering servo too pro tech high end but now I need something high torque for 1/8 scale buggy mp9 tki4

But what went wrong ? Was it the illusion of you being high above water but in reality you weren't ? Or was it some other thing ? Would love to know your analysis on this one? I ask because I am currently going head first for walksnail selling out my dji gears. I still have g2 and other stuffs. But planning to sell them stay walksnail. Do you think I am making a mistake ? Or it make sense to you.

You have one thing missing and that's silica gel or desiccant which absorbs moisture over time you have to think that moisture has to go somewhere mine works awsome

@chrisbee5481 when folded, it is 40cm long. Motor center to motor center diagonaly is 36cm. And since it is dead-cat style, motors form asymetrical square. Regarding 9 inches, i do not know, from the motor center to the closest frame part, it is 13cm in front and 12,5cm at the back.

Really love the innovative darwinfpv foldape4. Right now the amax f9 DC is my favourite frame also for 8 inch props. Maybe you like to have a look too. I

A well sealed dryer would work with some peltier or even heat pump condensation device draining water to an external tray. As is these dryers are kind of expensive for effectively a simple electric heater and fan. Still might get one in a combo deal with a printer, seems convenient to use even with the little workaround to went humid air.

OMG... Water doesnt evaporate on 55 degres celsius..... Also, water and moisture are totaly different things. This video is too misleading
WTF are you talking about?? Water definitely evaporates at 55°C but it does not turn into steam. If it couldn't evaporate, you would never dry if you sweat, and we would all die from overheating if we exercised or had a fever, we couldn't even air dry our clothes. It would also never rain since the whole water cycle is dependent on that same physical principle. Air has always been able to absorb some water, and water is not solid above 0°C and will have some free atoms that can be absorbed by the air around it. Hotter air is able to absorb more moisture than colder air, and these dryer works on the exact same principle as a clothes dryer does but simpler. The moisture level is also a relative scale, so even with the same amount of water in a room, the moisture level will go down if the temperature goes up. 100% moisture level is the maximum amount of moisture the air can absorb at the current temperature, and any more, it will start to bind together and fall out just like it does when it rains. So water and moisture are definitely not totally different things. Moisture is free floating water molecules suspended in the air or absorbed into objects that can absorb these water molecules. Moisture will always try and equalize, and dry objects in moist air will try and draw moisture from it. Dececant bags works since they are able to absorb much more moistrue than other things and will therefore get more of the free floating water molecules but will still have the same moisture level as objects around it since it's relative moisture level is still the same it just have a much higher maximum then most other things.
I made a linear actuator that opens the lid every 30 mins for 10 seconds - designs are over on Thingiverse - it works well!

There are two small holes on the top, one with a plug for filament to go through during printing, the other on the clear cover with no plug. I assume the latter is for venting. So there is a vent, but it's too small and doesn't work as intended.

To be able to fly in rain or do not worry if I will fall in to deeper water. If not coated I would need to disconnect battery immediately and make sure it is 99,9% dry before reconnecting. Otherwise I risk damaging my bords by electrolysis by corroding electronics component pins and pads.

i dont get it what are you talk about a hole in the top and you can drop in moister bags or drill more holes in the top! heat up fast and very good for higher temperature to dry filament
Why not just open the plug on top? The one were you would put your filament through?
It is very small in diameter and is not designed to be constantly installed and removed.

What a genues designers are at Crealit. Let's clap our hands. In reality, we users can find a creative ways to use components not by their intended purpose and achieve our goals.

Interesting video. In practice, I found that it did work pretty well. I put a spool of Hatchbox Tranparent Black that I had forgotten about for a couple of years into it because it would snap at the slightest pressure. 12 hours later it was printing away with no breakae and no stringing. I think the few holes and the leakage around the door are sufficient to let the humidity out. FYI - the room I print in was at 38% relaive humidity and the drier went down to 15%.

Nice work! I have just unboxed mine today and this is the first thing that occurred to me as well. My thought is that occasionally a flap should open to release humid air and then close again in order to retain the heat, increase the humidity again and then repeat the process. What you do think?
Yes, if you do that you'll see the humidity drop dramatically.
@@xjet It also seems that the temperature is not correctly calibrated and the humidity inside the chamber is not reading correctly either, have you found this as well?
@@NeedItMakeIt Yep, it's a bit sketchy in terms of accuracy. For best results I pop a bit of filament between the hinged portion and the top of the case so as to create a small gap. That allows the moisture to get out continuously. I note that the humidity sensor doesn't measure less than 15 percent. Still... it's pretty cheap and it *will* dry filament so I'll keep using mine -- that way the wife won't complain when she finds a spool of TPU in the toaster-oven 🙂

question, I have just gotten a space pi plus. Is the hole in the lid not enough to vent heat pressurized humid air slowly? and if not, is the filament hole left open not enough?

Great demonstration! This is the same problem as most "dryers" on the market have. While the most manufacturers have worked on the circulation of the warm air inside, still nobody seems to have thought about that the moist air has to be evacuated somehow.
The plug up top serves two purposes, one of which you aren't using, which is to vent when actively drying the filament. Once dry, it can then be filled with a ptfe tube to seal it up and keep hygroscopic filament dry during the printing process

I built mine about a month ago. I absolutely adore it! It's my favorite LR frame I own. I've had it out over 3 miles on the o3 with stock goggles 2 antennas! I highly recommend the Mario 8! If you're in the US, Defiance RC and Pyrodrone both have the frame in stock. I run mine with T-Motor Veloc 3008 1350KV a 65a Skystars F722 stack and 900mhz ELRS. Easy to tune as well! Frame by itself is $99. Im going to buy another one for spare parts.
Those buttons are not hard to press they are time sensitive, so all you have to do is lightly touch them for longer time
Oh man. This is a perfect example of how hard it is to judge your height on still water! Even in the replay it looked like you were a meter above the surface until the water splashed up! Bummer… lost quad club!
Interesting video thinks for posting. I would have liked to see the box with the water run overnight with the lid fully closed. Everyone talks about these as "sealed" boxes, but they are no where near airtight. So it would be nice to see how much water evaporates with the closed box run for 12 hours vs with the lid partially open. THAT comparison would prove the value of your proposal. The mere demonstration of initial lower humidity possibly could indicate LOWER effectiveness because outside drier air is continuously mixing with the humid air around the filament, reducing the humidity of the mixed air. It would be great to see a proper comparison with hourly measures of water left (by weight) and humidity with both closed box and slightly opened box. This would also permit an estimation of the optimal opening to leave to maximize moisture loss from within the box.

I've never understood how these dryers work. where does the moisture go when the box is fully enclosed. Seems like they just make hot moist air.
That's why other dryers have holes or tell you to leave a small gap to let moist air out
