Hej. Jag tittade på Dragkrokskungen och det var artikelnummer V-297 som jag har. Tänk sen om du tycker det är värt att köpa enkla kablaget eller CAN bus. Jag tog som videon visade CAN bus men den kom från en annan bil och det visade sig inte vilja fungera. Så jag använde mig av det enklare som man kopplar in på flera punkter. Men det tar bara en halvtimme och jag får inga som helst felkoder på det. Om du är någorlunda kunning med el, så överväg vilket av dom som är värt. Lycka till.

@@PwndersWoW Thanks. This was not a model specific unit. So I had to adapt. But I believe today that you can get one that is just plug and play. Note, I never got the buttons on the steering wheel to work. But that is a minor.

@@swedemake5571 yeah as I saw on aliexpress for like 1000 NOK, almost same in sweden so. And its model specific! My only issue is that I want the android screen, but a player with a powerful amp for my music. I plan on doing 12" sub in the back, but also need door speakers and such, and want em to play loud and nicely😂👀

@@PwndersWoW Good luck. I have another thing that is convenient. There is a signal from the ignition key that gives 12 Volt when key is inserted until you take out the key. This regardless of of you turn the key or not. That is a nice thing for your stereo. And keep the stereo awake even though you turn of the engine. Its a yellow wire in the key harness. Good luck. I cant swear on that. But I believe its just plug and play. Its before the facelift (2014), so I would give it a try. Would you also change the airbag? That could be another version between the two.

@dvs615 It fits bolt on. But you need to add 2 wires. From the from the TFT to the OBD connector. And reprogram the car configuration. I have 2 videos on that on my V70 which is the same as the XC60. There is this Czech company, d5t5 than offers reprogramming in easy steps with their software. They crack the checksum code in order to program, and then a step by step guide for the TFT adaption.

Hello. I dont remember if I got any error codes. However, it did not impact the function. They worked great. During the time I had them, there were no deterioation on the finish. I bought these on Aliexpress.

Hello. Yes they are really nice. Its connected like this: the diodes are about 3Volts. So a 560 Ohm resistor are in serie with each diode. And that the +side is connected to battery (with a fuse between). Then on the ground side, diodes minus is connected to the handle on the plus side. Here you use a diode in order to not get plus backwards. That diode used called 1N5401. When you pull the handle the habdle let current through the handle to the break lamp to ground. And by that you have a closed circuit. Its very easy. (You actually just use the break light ground to make this feature).cool. Be sure to measure that you dont get any increased current consumption of your scooter when the led is off).

Hmm. It might be that the flex wire is broken between circuit board and the Led:s. I have not heard that there would be a Gear lever that does not have light in the knob.

Hello. I have used it for some time now and are very happy with it. I have improved the programming and when weather allows, I will install never hardware. Note, its not only a touch start button. You can also read battery voltage and turn on extra lights. If I am am able to with the new hardware, you will be able to have like oil pressure, turbo load and so on. Stay tuned, video will come in time.

Hello Jeremy. Yes, it works on both geartronic and powershift. There is no software needed for this change. I had this same gear lever on my previous V70 with geartronic. Gear lever from S60/V70/S80 should be bolt on. If its a 2013 gear lever, the knob shows which position you are in. (Dont remember the deviation on PCB on that one). Merry Christmas.

Thanks for your reply! I was wondering, because I’ve never really seen anyone do this swap untill I found this. We drive a v40 too, its a manual but still has the new style lever wich is much nicer! Seeing this makes me want to go and find one to swap with. First I have a tft retrofit to do! Haha. Merry xmas to you too and thanks again!

Hej. Jag har inte kvar den bilen. Men det var inga problem vid besiktningen. (Har en S80 facelift med dynamiska blinkers och de fungerar finfint.
