Yes I’m an 87 baby and I’m scared lol but now that I’ve gotten older, I realize that we can still look and feel young. But it is an interesting space, because it isn’t young but it isn’t old. I’m a very youthful person at heart & ppl often think I’m in my 20s. I’m glad that I don’t have any grey hair yet lol I guess all I can do is age gracefully and do my best. It just gets annoying hearing people on the internet say that late 30s and 40s are old and washed up, especially when single and childless. I guess I can just tune that out and enjoy my grown womanhood. Thanks for this video sis 🩷
@@AmberBrooklyn24 Gurlll, I remember when I turned 37 and how I felt. I was freaking all the way out. 🤣🤣 Now I look back, and I’m like, why? Lol But I get it, Sis! It definitely hits different when you’re single and childless, but when I think about it, I’m so grateful that God didn’t allow me to settle for any and anyone because I needed to tick a box. Also, the growth and maturity that I have experienced since then I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Nothing before God‘s timing. One more thing!! (😂) when I look at all of the beautiful, GORGEOUS women in their 40’s and 50’s, looking like they’re in their 20’s and 30’s I breathed a sigh of relief!!! 🤣🤣🤣Thank you SO much for watching and commenting. Yeah, those are just their opinions, you don't need to subscribe to them. 40 is not old. So many people even start all over again at 40, it's possible and you have more wisdom and experience to implement in life. At 40, women look amazing too, just women have to put more effort in self-care, but the results are bomb!

This came across my feed. The host is attractive. Strictly based on looks, I'd date her. But like any woman or man in their 40s who are trying to get the best partner, best anything, it starts with trying to be the best version of you. And it also is being honest about yourself. I am harder on myself than others are. Brothers celebrate sisters who have done great things be it Simone Biles, or being the first black woman in excel in any field. That said, when it comes to relationships, its a mine field out there for both genders. I tend to see both genders generalize about the other gender. There are over 40 million of us in all socio economic groups, all over the country, and generalizing is both wrong but inaccurate. I don't blame anyone for my bad relationships but myself as it was my choice and I didn't spot red flags enough, when I was younger I was wrong at times and had to make changes. Good luck to us all....we need it.

I’m 29. I have men trying to tell me, I am old. That I’m not young anymore, it’s wrong how society try to make women feel horrible about themselves. 40 is not old. I can’t wait to be in my 30s, I see my 20s for myself as a baby still becoming an adult. I felt like a kid up until my late 20s. I feel like I a grown ass woman with some sense of the world now. Before I didn’t know myself and my worth. Now I know everything I need is within me. The only opinion I need about myself comes from me. Every else opinion about me doesn’t matter. The only other person who knows my heart, mind and spirt is god. Every woman out there don’t ever let a man put you down or family members. You’re a queen regardless of your past and if you don’t feel like you’re in the right place. You are in the right place. Trust in god and trust in yourself. This world can be ugly but there’s alot of beauty. It’s a balacne. Don’t give up on yourself. You deserve to be happy and to feel loved.

Thank you for these words of encouragement. I'm in my mid 30s and I've got to say so far 30s is way more fun than my 20s. I've gotten a lot done in my 20s. However my 30s is when im really starting to enjoy the fruits of my labor. People still mistake me for a 20 something and my weight is on a healthy decline. I feel good, look good, happily married (no kids), and am in a decent financial situation. I think men and businesses try to trick us into moving too quickly in our youth. That way we don't have as much time to think important decisions through and many of us wind up wasting a lot of time on toxic people and jobs. Worst still many children are brought into this world, not as gifts, but as an unwanted pregnancies or simply boxes to be ticked off sucess bucket lists. No shame in living your best life at any age. I always thought it was a stupid concept to only enjoy the first 25 years of your life while the other 50+ is just boredom and stress. No thanks. Society can miss me with that bs

You cannot Serve God and Money. In this day and age most chose to serve money which severs their relationship with God. You cannot half step w God. You Live a life of gratitude. Meditation and prayer and thru your faith, belief you will be abundant and have a seat in the kingdom of God. You have to understand that Jamaica is 93% Black or predominantly pure Black , its 6% Brown/ Mulatto, aka Mixed-race peoples, then Indian, White and Chinese. Only America had that 1 drop White Supremacist rule. The Caribbean and Africa has separate category for Mixed-race peoples. Creole is used in Belieze.

I agree, all good reasons. Breaking intergenerational trauma is worth it. I'm sure no one is surprised to hear this. The difference is like chalk and cheese for the child, the parent, the marriage, and the family unit as a whole. Its revolutionary. Taken from another angle, if we consider that we may have been born into generational trauma, do we ever think that we would rather not been born at all or been born to older parents who took the time to work on healing themselves first? This should guide us. Beautiful video.

Our life story is all part of His perfect plan for humanity; and we’re all born to whom He chose to be our parents to fulfill His purpose here on earth. As I’ve matured and look back on my life, I see His reasoning for certain things that have happened in my grandparents lives, and my parents lives that has ultimately affected my life. Fulfilling the purpose for the reason why He put me here. I know this is a SUPER longggg response to your question and I apologize!! 😂 I just felt to share all of this with you. 🤗

Ur sending a message with truth but not enough reality. I’ve been in your shoes and in the 40’s there are many conditions and biological processes that can start and you don’t know the date of that and you didn’t mention that God may not want you to have children people have to be ok with whatever happens. Some of us won’t do it outside of marriage which also makes it harder. Yes always hope and be positive but be prepared for any outcome sometimes the one you don’t want
Hello 👋🏽 Thank you so much for watching and sharing your experience. Your experience is valid hun. I also feel it’s coming from a vulnerable place of hurt, and I’m so sorry this is your reality. With that said, I believe in a God that can not lie, and if He placed that desire in your heart, hold on, fast, pray, praise and worship Him in the midst of the wait because it will SURELY come to pass IF we faint not. His Word is truth, immutable, cannot return onto Him void, but accomplish what it was set forth to do. Many times when we’re in the waiting season, we wrestle against an invisible demonic principality, called fear and doubt. The Bible says in James 1:6-8, but let him ask in “faith”, with “no doubting”, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive ANYTHING from the Lord; he is a double minded man, unstable in all his ways. Let’s keep it real, many people give up in the waiting season and never see the promises of God. My channel is not based on reality. My channel is based on radical faith and hope. Sadly in society of hookup culture when you try to keep yourself from just wasting yourself with everyone looking for the ideal man this seems never happen but I am still hopeful about God's plan. So long it took for me to understand I am also a demisexual meaning can't really be intimate with random guys he should be the one that I connect emotionally. Also it is so sad that to solve singles issues dating apps came out which are of no use and just distraction. I wish there were more socializing places this is a really serious issue.
