Excellent video Daniel! I’ve been watching a number of other ICM videos lately but learned more actual, usable technique from this than all the others combined.

I have really enjoyed watching your video, I have only recently discovered ICM and have taken some (I think) very interesting and exciting shots . As I suffer from Essential Trembling ( which is not at all "Essential " ) Or so I thought! However, ICM is the perfect medium to deal w ith the shakes. I love your work and have found your advice very useful. Thank you.

I started this ‘ICM’ 41 years ago on 35mm film. Back then i used a high street store to develop my film , on occasion they sent negatives back and no prints saying the whole 36 shots were unusable. I had to then tell them to print off any shots i sent in and to not try adjust them. 2 years after i joined the military and soon became a photographer for them and they taught me how to develop film etc freeing me up to develop my own abstract films. One huge tip i have over the years is to use BULB mode. Hope this helps. I am now an artist painting abstracts of music in oil paints as i see music in colours. When i got my first digital camera blow my mind and opened massively the work i could do

I like these images. They remind me of French Impressionism type paintings which I also like. I want to try this in the city with hustle and bustle, skylines, traffic, etc. I'm assuming you turn off the image stabilization in the camera.

Daniel I love this video thank you. However I do see that some images seem sharper than others. If the image is too blurry, it hurts the eyes. Any ideas on getting motion and somewhat sharp images?

I have recently tried a few seascape motion blur photos at sunset and managed to get a mixture of soft pastel colours. I had never considered moving my camera in a different direction than a horizontal sweep. Your video has broadened my thoughts about different subject to capture motion blur images. Thank you for this brilliant video

Wow great helpfully video! I'm going to schotland in 2 weeks time to hopefully make some pictures for my own nature photography vlog. I'm staying for 1 week in aviemore and 5 days near glenco so realy looking forward to it. I'm very interested in the lily loch you mentioned at the end but I can't seem to find it in Google maps. You have a good eye.. I also went to my first night of street photography a couple of days ago.. It was intense for me because my focus is to nor go to beatiful places but dark and moody locations... Any suggestions on how to set up my camera settings for city nights? I have a small sony rx100 precisely because i dont want to get attention to myself. Good channel!
