I don’t understand the problems that the guy commenting this has with both Russo and Wilder. Both great boxer. Anyway for the way he has treated Italy, even after so many years, gaves me the itch of rearranging his face and if I was Russo I would have done just that.

Wow so many comments here concentrating on the negative. Clemente was extremely quick on his feet going in and out of the pocket. This is exactly what helped to defeat reach disadvantage. Wilder was just too slow here, but its not about Wilder only. The guy beat as well Usyk, we all know his skill and agility. So kudos to Clemente, still if he went pro, i think smart move would be to stick with cruiser, to maintain the speed.

This is terribly biased scoring. They are scoring slaps that aren't even with the Knuckle of the gloves for the Moroccan and the judges aren't scoring clear clean shots to the head and body by Wilder. The later into the fight it gets the worse and more biased the scoring is and the more desperate the judges are to get rid of the Last American fighter. Deplorable behavior. The commentary is awful. It's convenient that somehow not a single American makes it to the finals in China. With biased rigged scoring like this I'm not surprised. Also I can't wrap my head around the logic of Olympic Boxing that all of these jabs Wilder is landing are completely meaningless besides setting up and preventing other punches. Almost not even a single jab from his opponent, yet they are scored so evenly even if hypothetically scored other punches were not biased? That sort of scoring encourages good Boxing?

Jesus Christ this is just sad. Wilder is a 6 foot 7 freak of nature fighting a 5'10 fat former welterweight. I know you give an upcoming talent easy fights to give him experience but come on this is a bit too one sided for any reputable boxing commission to sanction.

All these negative comments about Wilder don't seem to understand he had literally just taken up the sport a little over a year earlier. Ten title defenses later, highlight legendary knockouts and millions of dollars later, who's laughing now lol.

I'm Italian and I don't like Wilder, but amateur boxing has a completely different approach. Everything is bet on 3Round and the judges' decisions reward the style that the effectiveness of the punches ... Unfortunately Russo never turned pro I would have liked to see him for 12 rounds ... Wilder arrived at the Olympics after two years of starting boxing, he is not a technical giant but with a terrifying punch, and in professionalism this with much more weight ...
