This was great , after I watched it I was bringing in bags of logs and thought I’ll load another bag carrying these is great for me ! ( I’m 54 ) . More importantly I wanted to note that as well as raising more informed girls / women I am very proud to have raised a man who has no embarrassment and a lot of genuine care and concern for my journey with menopause and in turn will I know be equipped to be a great support for his partner ❤. So interesting about the skinny era , so true ……. I’ve probably always lived in a calorie deficit. Thanks for another great episode xx

Brilliant video. The fear mongering and lack of understanding from the UK Government is making us lag behind. People suffering with all sorts of medical and mental health problems could be helped out by cannabis or psychedelics but with incorrect scheduling and lack of funding it makes it so hard for researchers to provide the NHS with their research.

I subscribed the moment I got here, Davina. I turned 59 in October and (though in my head I feel 22) I felt 109 due to a stroke in my late 40s after the rapid death of my father (cigar smoker) and my mum (Alzheimer's). Having watched your and Vonda's discussion, though I still feel old and decrepit, with very low mobility, I feel a sort of low rumble of hope! I have no idea why. I find hard to get a night's sleep due to pain but I do feel your video and you two ladies' positivity has motivated me. Thank you, very much. 👍🙂

My Mum will be 75 on christmas day and honestly seems 20 years younger. She didn't drive, frequently carried heavy shopping bags home, always took the stairs, had an 'on your feet' job and now enjoys good health and mobility walking her little dog and helping others in the community. I hope I can match this!

This pop up in my RUclips feed so I decided to give it a listen. This is my story. I grew up a Jehovah’s Witness, got married to one as marrying a nonbeliever was not an option. We never had sex before marriage due to the religion/bible. From the beginning our sex life wasn’t great. We were sexually incompatible. I’ve tried so much for us to improve but to no avail. My husband hardly ever initiate sex even after much prodding and frank discussions. We’d go months without and I would be the one to initiate. I’m no longer a JW but there’s no improvements with our sex live. Over 15 years of unfulfilled sex. We do not have any children. Divorce isn’t an option. House prices in England is no joke. I couldn’t afford to rent much less buy a home on my salary. Lif is tough.

Relationships can be tested when menopause enters the mux, sadly a lot of women lose their libido during the process and after, and the mind can be willing but the body isnt. Sad and frustrating but not a fair excuse to cheat or jump ship, there needs to be more to the relationship for a strong foundation in order to get the relationship through this

A better start to this topic would have been to stop separating alcohol from drugs. Alcohol is a drug. The fact it is afforded separate status is a large part of the problem.

Every single partner has tried to change me, I've always wondered why! They are attracted to you as you are, then suddenly the control & manipulation comes in as well as much more in my own experiences! You end up people pleasing and not being your true authentic self!! I've been single 10 years, needless to say I've not had much luck with relationships!! I've learned now, that we actually allow this, so it's my fault which has taken me a long time to accept, but hey ho! Such a powerful podcast, I look forward to watching this fully! 💚💚💚

I beg to differ on Cannabis. David knows that Skunk was an old strain in the 90s that hasn't been around for a while. Also it's legal & regulated in Canada, 38 US states,Germany,Thailand,S.A. Decrim would still leave the market in criminal hands. We need full tax & regulation with dispensaries & coffee shops. He also forgot to mention you could grow your own at home. All other drugs need regulating, no more scheduling

Yeah but you've gotta feel sorry for the big Pharmaceutical Corps if these illegal drugs were legalised for use in mental illness therapy?! They'd suddenly lose half their profits overnight! They've got bills to pay too....??!!😮😮 Plus these "illegals" can actually CURE the issues - not just sedate them so those patients (aka customers) would then be lost forever because they'd never need Pharma meds ever again??!! It would only take someone to finally find a prevention/cure for cancer and then that would be it - whole companies wiped out, just like that!! I mean, I know that's not likely to happen because, well, despite decades of funding & donations, they're still flummoxed - but still.... We can't let this happen guys!!😢😢

I appreciate much of what has been said but I believe in equality and fairness across the gender's, what I don't appreciate pervasive amongst all podcasts and media is the fact that men need to 'man up' accept constructive criticisms and grow and never is there any acknowledgement that women also fall short, and if there is criticism it is either inclusive of men or is skirted around and diluted. In the words of Charlamayne Da God "keep dat same energy".

  • @vimtobill4156

Tbh this is nice but its not realistic. The whole checklist is really women. Men dont have a list. Just probably 3 things? Where as women have a shopping list. A few things in this was not on point but does raise some thoughts. Davina said women are most likely to stay single while raising kids. Those same single moms sleep around. They become less attractive to men for longer relationship. Todays relationships are not long lasting for many reasons.
