@sassygmt You are absolutely correct, sir. I felt the brakes on the bike were good enough, so I just left on alone. Kept the brakes that came with the kit. The problem I had is that they are for cable brakes, not so for hydraulic brakes. Thanks for the good feedback, as I hope to help anyone out there fitting their own conversion kit. @shadowpro5179 I found it straightforward to build. Just need to make sure you have the right tools. If you don't mind, which type of build are you looking to do on your career?

The kit was 1,250, but I also upgraded to a CNC chainring and a 52v 24ah battery. It all depends on what you want as I know it can be cheaper with a 48v battery but less range and not as powerful

@ConnorMorris-u2p The battery I've put is the jumbo case, and it went on just fine. Not sure what type of battery you have or plan on getting, but if you intend on fitting a standard battery case, that will be no problem 😎👍

@Boogie.VanMan if you have an insta 360, you just go into your video, then go to stats, which looks like a box with a line going through it at an angle and that should bring up what your looking for. It's in the middle at the bottom of the screen. Hope this helps 😎👍

@taha3849 Hi mate, the bafang bbso2 is a really good choice, and I hope you have a tone of fun when you convert your carrera. The chainring i went with is a 42 tooth, which I feel is perfect for this bike as it gives you good top end speed and decent from a standing start. I hope this helps you out with your choice of chainring😎👍

The asi controller is about 4 inches in length and 3 inches in width. Powerful little thing taking my 1000w bbshd to 2800w on a 52v battery, and if I put a 72v battery on it, it will push it up to 3300w.
